Really over priced and not very authentic. I ordered crispy rice tuna and they brought out tuna nigiri placed on top of a sugar rice cracker :( I dont think they know what they are doing

Thought it was a cute place to take my little sister, but they literally served us frozen sashimi. They even had the chef come out and explain to us it was supposed to be like that. Never in my life have I ever waited for toro to defrost before I can even consume it. Truly disappointing.

Overpriced. And all 3 things I ordered really missed the mark. The fried calamari were huge rings that were not de-veined and the crust slipped right off and the vein kept ripping the coating off because you can't bite through it. My two tiny pieces of eel sushi were tepid and unrememberable. The special appetizer was the most disappointing, the salmon with crab and avocado. I thought it was going to be wrapped like a roll, but they were just flat pieces and only half of them had avocado on them. The whole appetizer was super bland, even though the ingredients sound yummy by themselves. Service was fine, nothing bad with it, but not super inviting either. The atmosphere was subpar for me too, and why the graffiti on the wall? Cokes are $4.50? Seems like desperate gouging. The place wasn't too busy and the location is unfortunate because there is no close parking, if you are handicapped, this makes the place very inconvenient to get to. The first thing this place to do is rethink their pricing. The second thing is figure out how to make the food better. The super cool looking roll at the top of the menu pictures isn't even offered here, I asked about it and they said that was only offered briefly and it cost like $100. I really wanted to like this place but I think they need to go back to the drawing board.

Came here for my 19th birthday with my mom and it was amazing, the staff was amazing and the sushi was just as great. Highly recommend, we loved the overall experience and the way everything was.

Pleasant space with delicious sushi. The staff was pleasant and helpful, space was quiet and clean. I felt the sushi was well made, not overly sauced with fresh fish and other ingredients. I was also excited for the very generous pile of pickled ginger 😁
You can taste the best Japanese sushi here. Don't worry about it. This place is the best.

Absolutely delicious. We just popped in for a snack and we were treated to a beautiful salad to share before our meal came to the table. Fresh, flavourful, definitely a nice touch. Saki was over heated but overall I would highly recommend this Japanese restaurant

I thought the Sashimi flavor was mediocre and everything was an up charge. I had to pay extra for the miso soup, extra if I wanted salad and even for a small bowl of plain rice. Unfortunately I could barely even eat the rice because it was stuck together like glue! When I complained the very nice server said they cannot do anything about it because they use the same rice for the sushi! Well it seems to me they should simply have another cooked amount of plain rice that is dry and fluffy like most other sushi restaurants I have been too. Unfortunately I shall not return to this sushi restaurant because in my opinion there are better alternative sushi places in Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert. Another point, some other sushi restaurants have a less expensive lunch priced menu and when I asked this restaurant said no it's all the same price regardless of the time of day!
