Had a reservation for dinner at 7:30. The wife was getting ready so i went to the Steakjouse bar. I had been there for about 45 minutes when the girl from the receptionist area came and told me i had to leave i asked why and she said because i was in someone else’s seat. I asked how could that be i had been there for over 45 mins. she then told me no I had not been there and again told me I had to leave. The bartender apologized. The girl went and got the manager and he told me I had to leave. I told him I had rented a suite for three days and my reservations were litteraly 5 minutes away. He told me i had to leave and I told him I would never come back to Aqua and he could. ( well i’ll leave you to fill in the blanks)

The Steakhouse used to be our Go To place a few times a year for date night and special occasions. The service is usually perfect, the food sublime, and subdued ambiance. This last visit in February was a real eye opener. The service started out attentive as always, and we had our drinks (always good Manhattans) and then ordered. We are creatures of habit so we ordered what we always do that is always perfect, and we were hugely disappointed. The bread no longer includes gluten-free bread, so strike one for me since I was hungry and couldn't eat any bread. Our usual is a salad to split and then the pork chops and Jidori chicken. The salad was fine, thank heavens I had some of that. Our dinners came out completely overcooked to the point that the pork chop had a lot of visible burnt skin on it, and the chicken, even the dark meat, was pretty dry and hard. I sent back my chicken after about 15 minutes when the waiter finally noticed me calling him over. I have had this chicken many, many times and it never tasted this bad. My husband was starving so he ate his chop but said we are not coming back. When I gave my meal to the waiter, I literally had to explain it was overcooked and usually I bring some home to eat but I could not even eat what they gave me at the restaurant. I asked if there was a new chef, and he said yes. Then I heard the table next to us complaining about the "new chef" and sadly realized that the we probably would not be coming back. We were there for our anniversary, but got no recognition, and when the check came it had my entree for $45 on the bill. They removed it when I asked them, but we were already so disappointed. Such a bummer to cut back on selection, quality of food, and attentiveness of service. They will turn into the reputation the Cat City Steakhouse has....

I've been here twice and the steaks are amazing, as is the service. The king crab legs are $150 but you do get plenty (1.5 pounds) and they were some of the best I've had. The salads are all great, and they also offer a really nice variety of dipping sauces for the steaks. I did take off 1 star for the side dishes, which were really disappointing to all 4 of the people in my group. The "cream corn" was a very small portion, yet we had half of it left because after all 4 of us tasted it, we did not want more. It wasn't creamy at all. It was more like chunky corn with a sauce, and the sauce/flavor was not good. Had a very odd and funky flavor. I've heard this from many others too. The chef really should rethink the creamed corn recipe. Steak 48 in Beverly Hills got creative with their creamed corn recipe too, but unlike this restaurant, the "corn brulee'" idea at Steak 48 tastes amazing and is worth going back for. But adding bacon and whatever spicy flavor they put into the corn here just ruined it for all of us. Not good at all!! Also the truffle Mac & Cheese was nothing special. Barely tasted like truffle at all. We left most of that too. I really wish they had better tasting side dishes here because then it would be a 5-star place! I took off another star because, as a suggestion to the chef, if you're sending out melted butter for the crab, and Bearnaise' sauce for the steaks, they tend to cool off and get thick very quickly. A chef should know this!! Most finer restaurants put these sauces on little candle burners to keep them warm and smooth for the length of the meal. That would have been really nice, classy, and helped the meal a bit. This place is great overall and I will definitely go back, but they do have some room to improve.

We were celebrating a special birthday but we're very disappointed with the food. We've dined there before and it was fantastic. This time we ordered Onion soup (excellent) rib eye (excellent) loaded baked potato (two small boiled potatoes) and $120 Lobster tail. It was overcooked and very tough! So they tried to correct with another one which smelled fishy and again tough. Could not eat it. It also took 20 minutes turnaround. It was very disappointing and not to your standards. Thought you should know. Thanks

This is my uncles favorite place when he visits. The service is always exceptional and the food is too. The French onion soup one of the best. His favorite is the king crab legs. Not for the faint of heart. It's a lot of legs and a lot of money. Truely a wonderful place to eat.

Our experience was not worth the amount charged. Better off going to a steak house like LGs or Ruth Chris. The $60 Prime Rib (ordered Medium-Rare) was undercooked--when notified the waiter had the cook throw it back on the grill which turned it into a well-done steak. $79 Filet Oscar Style was underwhelming (a petit filet with a piece of crab meat on top and no sauce). Sides were hit & miss--house salad very good. Mushroom & Mac and Cheese sides were good. Creamed corn had no cream and tasted very sugary. Service was good up to the point of the sending the undercoocked steak back (then we were ignored).

I requested sautéed spinach and medium rare filet mignon. I received asparagus and medium well steak, but everything was rectified pretty quickly. I've been coming to the steakhouse for several years. This was an atypical event. I do wish the chef would bring back the Augratin potatoes, they were one of the reasons I came to the steakhouse. :-(

I highly recommend The Steakhouse at Aqua Caliente. Food and service were outstanding. The Scallop dinner and Surf and Turf were a 10 of 10. Service was outstanding. It was our anniversary and we got a special complimentary dessert and a photo. We always return every year and this year was even better than previous years. It's not cheap, but the food and service make it more than worth the price.

A casino steakhouse that is surprisingly good. Prices are high, but there are some good dishes to be found that exceed in value their cost. Service was excellent, pacing was just right, cocktails are good, and it was overall very enjoyable.

Great atmosphere away from the casino traffic. The menu is diverse the food flavors are extraordinary and the portions are ample. Kristen, one of our servers is a real pro. She helped guide us through our experience. The Steakhouse is one of the best run restaurants in the Coachella Valley. We will return again for a fantastic meal and a great time!

Great rib eye. Good service. Baked potato for 14 dollars was a joke. Nothing there to write home about. But good steak. Cooked right and very personable wait staff. I'll be back.

Everything was incredible. The look, the service, the food, and the drinks. The hostess was dealing with a difficult entitled lady who was mad that the place was booked and she handled it with grace. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely booth in the inside dining room. Service was excellent and the desert for our anniversary was a nice touch. The sauce for the Tomahawk steak came out way to thick and the steak was a little tougher than usual. The appetizer sampler was wonderful as was the candy at the end. Salad, bread, sides, and drinks were all fabulous.

Both Hostesses (Julia specifically)were discourteous with zero personality and unpleasant. We were early and tables were wide open. Would not allow us to be seated even 5 minutes before reservation. We waited 45 minutes for the actual reservation time. I've never heard of this at what is considered a 5 star restaurant. Far from it! Very bland and classless. Our server, Nicholas and the trainee were excellent and accommodating, hence we had a concert to get too. Had escargot, above average, bread on table is very good, shared rib eye and broccolini both both classic and above average. Cesar salad was a classic, good. Regarding hostess's, they are the first introduction to restaurant, needs improvement.
