Had a great experience at The Backyard BBQ and Burgers and honestly, the mushroom burger stole the show. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with mushrooms that were rich, savory, and not greasy at all. Everything was balanced — the bun, the toppings, the seasoning — nothing overpowering, just done right. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and handled with care. Portions were solid, prices felt fair, and the vibe was relaxed and welcoming, like a true neighborhood spot. Staff was friendly and easygoing, which always makes the food taste even better. This is the kind of place you crave again a few days later without even thinking about it. I’ll definitely be back to work through more of the menu.

I used to come here quite often and loved their food. My experience today though was the opposite. Started off with the water tasting very weird and nasty. The coke not being coke. Then there mac n cheese is more of a pasta salad. Tasted like thousand island sauce. Tater tots burnt and the hot dog looked more wrinkled and old.... Not sure what was going on but everything was nasty. I was hyping this place up so much and feel defeated. And on top of it the waitress was M.I.A and look distressed like she was getting complaints left n right. I felt bad for her but also she could have comped my food that was basically untouched and inedible.

Health inspectors found 48 rodent droppings around the bar and grill!!! “About 20 rodent droppings were discovered inside a box of steam table plastic liner below a food preparation table, according to inspection reports. Inspectors also saw rodent droppings on restaurant floors and dirty knives that had been put away on a rack but were unclean.”
