I'm truly impressed with this place. From the moment we walked in for dinner, we were greeted with smiles and friendliness. The wait staff was nice and attentive without being an annoyance.
The ramen is probably one of the best I've eaten in South County.
Noodles - great texture Broth - balanced without being too Meats - Good amounts of protein Ambiance - I love the ceiling
Everything was reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to come back to try more items from the menu.

If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese Ramen you’ve got to check out Moono the Spicy Pork Ramen is delicious! It’s my go to in Rancho Santa Margarita when I’m missing Japan! They even have Tamago Sando ( egg salad sandwich) and burnt cheesecake both yummy😉

I had the house ramen which basically tasted like a water down chicken broth with some $.99 instant noodles. You pay $18 for a watered down tonkutsu wannabe. Sinstant noodles from Walmart taste better and arguably are the same portion size for one fourth of the price.

We ordered the chashu house Ramen it was super watery and it tasted nothing like tonkutsu and it was basically a water down chicken broth with some instant noodles and some mushrooms. This is the type of place that you go to take a good picture and not to enjoy a good ramen. Over priced appetizers, and they didn’t even care that we didn’t like the food

A Delicious Lunch Spot Worth Revisiting!
We stopped by Moono for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The place was bustling, but the service was still attentive and friendly. We felt well taken care of throughout.
We tried the Ramen, Dragon Roll, and the Lychee Pop drink, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The ramen was rich and flavorful, the dragon roll was fresh with just the right balance, and the lychee drink was refreshing and fun.
The ambience was vibrant and modern, making it a great spot for a casual but quality meal. It is a little on the pricier side for lunch, but the food and experience made it totally worth it.
We’ll definitely be back again!

The ramen was absolutely amazing. The broth is not too salty and flavorful. Caleb was our server. He was extremely nice and attentive. Amazing service, food, and the cutest decor.
Our first visit to MOONO was a fantastic experience overall. Staff were friendly and accommodating, food service was quick and responsive and we didn't wait long to be seated or for the food to arrive. The quality and flavor of the food was excellent, we especially enjoyed the Katsu burger and fried tempura. Prices are reasonable for a sit down restaurant in south Orange County. They also have quite a selection of alcoholic beverages including sake and wine. They offer dining options like Ramen and Curry, we will have to return to eat our way through the menu. Try this place out as generally South County is a culinary wasteland critically underserved by desirable dining destinations.

Some of the best chicken katsu curry I’ve ever had! The curry was rich and delicious. It’s served over perfectly breaded chicken and fluffy rice. It was exactly what I was craving. I would definitely recommend! So yummy.
