Vibrant ambience with great sushi rolls. Staff are very friendly and hearing music is refreshing in OC especially in a sushi place. Service is also good.

Since moving to south Orange County, this has been our go-to spot for sushi. The rolls are exceptional (the Ichiban roll is my favorite) and all their food is great. Steve the sushi chef is always hard at work behind the sushi bar making tasty creations. But what makes this place really special is the awesome hostess Jeanie. She's always super friendly and has a great sense of humor. She's always making sure everyone is happy, and always remembers our favorites. Fun atmosphere with good music. I highly recommend!

I was in the area and saw the great reviews and thought I would give it a try. It was 1:45. I walked in and the owner or manager was sitting in a both eating and yelled over "WE ARE CLOSED FOR LUNCH". No smile, no hospitality. Not exactly the customer service one would expect. I get it, they close at 2 I saw on their sign later as I promptly left but a simple " Hi, I'm so sorry-we close for lunch between 2-5, but please come back and see us for dinner." Note that it was 1:45 so before 2 but whatever. I will never come back. If that is how they treat customers, I would hate to know how it is to go thru an entire meal. I was always raised to have great customer service, you have to treat customers like gold with kindness, which is free. Clearly this establishment doesn't practice it. Can't speak to the food, as I didn't get that far. And to note, I didn't realize it was so close to their closing time and had I known I would never have gone in. I am not upset because they didn't agree to serve me, I am upset as I was shouted at like I was doing something wrong by bringing my business to them.

My second visit to Sake Sushi was DRASTICALLY different from the first. First time, service was great, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun. This time? Nothing even close. We waited OVER an hour for 3 rolls. They had 2 chefs, 2 servers, and there was 3 other parties seated. One chef was too busy drinking with the people seated in front of him, and one of the servers was too busy playing with one of the parties babies. After over an hour wait, we got up and walked out, never even got to see our food, which is a shame because last time it was very good.

It was a wonderful cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere. I'm not a sushi person but my wife said it was delicious. I got me a chicken teriyaki plate which was good. I would highly recommend this place.

Been going here on and off for years. Sushi quality has always been decent. Service normally OK but nothing to brag about. They have always been on the pricey side but lately it has become absurd. Size of the Sushi pieces has shrunk by half and the price has doubled. The excuse that they are reacting to raising wages and prices in general simply does not fly. It's nothing but greed. 3 house sake, 2 x Edamame, 5 orders of Nigiri (2 pcs each and no fancy fish) and 3 Rolls = US$ 156????????

There is no Sale Sushi without Jinny! She knows every customer and greets them as if they were old friends. The entire staff makes you feel cred for and you NEVER leave hungry!
A very nice and cozy Sushi place tucked in the corner of Pavilions mall in RSM. The food is good and we found it to be a bit pricey than other sushi restaurants around in the area. We ordered a veg sushi roll and jalapeno bomb ( no tuna). The chefs were happy to make the jalapeno bomb vegetarian.The server seemed super busy even when the restaurant was less than a quarter full. Loved the way she would leave dishes/menu/check on the table without stopping a bit (perfect vinyasa flows...haha) or smiling.Would definitely go here again.
