The vault is now the new location of the general store. Pizza and beer is served.

We have passed this town many times in the past without stopping. We stopped today and the only store open in this time capsule, was the general store.

Thought this place was closed, but it's also 105° out! There's a note on the front door for a phone number you can call, and he'll come open up the store!

If you are looking for things that you need, it's here. The things you don't need aren't here. The opposite end of "city" life.

If you plan on coming here on a week day, Don’t! There’s nothing going here in the whole town of Randsburg on a weekday. It will look like a ghost town. That’s why we came thinking it would still be a good idea. Wrong.

Great place that the kids love to visit. Hopefully they get back on their feet soon, but it's understandable that mining towns come and go

The staff is friendly and inside there is a unique vintage atmosphere that takes you back to a simpler time. If you find yourself nearby, be sure to stop by and have a bite, you won't regret it.

My husband had always wanted to take me there and since we were traveling nearby he decided to take me there to check it out. We happened to be there on one of their biggest weekends so the place was bustling with activity. We loved our visit and want to go back at the same time next year and bring some friends with us.

Love this old living Ghost Town. It is one of my favorite places to take photos. A must see for anyone who loves ghost towns. This living ghost town is filled with warm welcoming locals who love to share stories with those that are respectful. I was just there for the 2022 Halloween Ghosttown tour, very well puttogether for those who came from LA, even as a local this was a pretty cool experiance. I always learn something new everytime i come here. This is a perfect artists get away with a rich history and a visual haven for both photographers/cinematographers and painters alike.

A slight detour on route to Death Valley but well worth it. Such an interesting little town. We called into the General Store for lunch and opted for Jumbo Chili Dogs and Sodas which were great. The staff were really friendly and made us very welcome. Overall, a fantastic little place, well worth a visit.

The 395 can take you to some pretty amazing places. Mammoth, Lone Pine, Bishop. However, do yourself a favor and travel off the main road to Randsburg. A living ghost town. I was lucky enough to stop here on my way to lunch. The street was loaded with quads, side by sides and other off road vehicles. The Randsburg General Store has great food and an incredible history. Built in 1904 it's one of the oldest working soda fountains you can come across. I got myself a burger, grilled old school out back and a bag of chips (Don't ask for fries here). And I got a cherry soda, made with soda water and real cherry syrup. The food was amazing and the service was great. Do yourself a favor and stop by here if you're traveling up the 395. You won't be sorry. I'm glad I did.

Our family take a trip here from time to time. Recently went to visit the Ghost tour. I love the history of this town. Had a nice meal at the General Store. Staff is super friendly.

We came here for the Old West Days and specifically wanted to see their old bar and soda fountain. We went inside and saw their GIGANTIC "Let's Go Brandon" flag draped across the restaurant. The whole town was brimming with Confederate flags. We left in disgust.

Food and service was outstanding . Very friendly staff even allowed my grandson to help make the sodas. Pulled pork sandwich had an amazing flavor and the hamburger also had a fantastic flavor. Top quality meat was used. The old fashioned sodas are to die for. My wife who doesn't like soda was blown away with the sarsaparilla flavor. Ice cream sundae is also amazing. Well with the trip out there. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this as a day trip.
