Waited 40 min just for chicken fries and Mac N Cheese. Place wasn’t busy only had about 2 people in front of me. The fries were flavorful and some spice to it, but were around $18. And the Mac N Cheese was a small portion.

Baba’s Hot Chicken is located inside Redlands Public Market, a food court housed in a historic 1890 landmark packing house. The inside of this place is nicely decorated and lively. The staff were very friendly. They gave me a warm welcome. I ordered one mini Baba’s Hot Chicken Sandwich, one mini Loaded Fries, and one cup of creamy Mac & Cheese. The food was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. The Loaded Fries were especially amazing - packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I loved the food so much and finished it in no time!
I enjoyed the food very much. I had an amazing time. A great place for delicious Chicken Sandwiches, Loaded Fries, and Mac & Cheese. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their Chicken Sandwiches and Loaded Fries.

I had heard of this spot opening, so I decided to try the chicken sandwiches. Finding parking outside was hard, but we finally made it inside and ordered the food. And wow, the chicken was great! It was juicy, well-seasoned and spiced, crunchy and flavorful. The size of the sandwich was also very large; one sandwich would fill you up!! This spot is great, especially since it’s located at a booming spot. Highly recommended!!

Food was great and service was fast. Restaurant is located inside the Redlands Public Market. Many seats available and the ambiance is very social as the Market can get packed. Food arrived after 10 mins from ordering. The Mild spicy level is pretty spicy. Would recommend this place!

First Time Experience! Worth It!
What a great first time visit! Parking was a bit hectic, but I managed to figure it out. I ordered the mini chicken combo with macaroni and cheese and wow, the food did not disappoint! Flavorful, spicy, and super satisfying. Portions were generous too. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Really good loaded fries. I ordered the mini and it was surprisingly huge. Portion is just perfect for one person. The fries are also very crispy. Love how it was cooked. I hope they keep it that way.

I absolutely love the Riverside location of babas but I recently went to the location in Redlands and the service was awful. They got my order wrong ( I asked for medium spice they gave me the hottest spice, I have been to this restaurant multiple times so I know what the medium chicken is supposed to taste like) they’re very rude and dismissive. They threw my bag on the counter when I went to pick it up. Both me and my husband woke up with horrible stomach pains. I really love eating here, but this experience has made me not wanna come back ever again.

Genuinely the worst hot chicken I have tried. I had never tried this place, so in order to give it a fair chance I ordered a side of mac and cheese, two different types of tenders for my sandwich combo (which I got fries with since I wanted to try basically all they had to offer), their ranch on the side, extra pickles, and extra coleslaw on the side. What I received was TERRIBLE mac and cheese that tasted like straight water and had absolutely no cheese flavor or flavor of anything like salt or pepper literally anything, which wasn’t even filled all the way, (didn’t even think you could mess up mac and cheese in the first place but they definitely did), literal cabbage in a cup (no slaw), and two tenders that tasted the exact same (which didn’t even have a good flavor, kind of like pepper but no real rub on there) on bread that was instantly soggy and falling apart (that was covering two pickles because I guess extra pickles was too hard to fulfill). The fries were okay, but nothing special and the ranch was watery (just tasted like I could buy it at any store). Even the photos I took couldn’t make you understand how terrible it was. The best thing at this place was the foundation drink. While the atmosphere was cool, that has nothing to do with the place itself (since it’s in Redlands Public Market and they were doing some activities that were kind of fun). The service was pretty bad, as I said thank you multiple times and the guy at the front genuinely didn’t even mumble not one word the entire time I was there. Also, it was crazy expensive so I genuinely just wasted almost 30 dollars 🤦♀️. Do not go here, genuinely just about every single other hot chicken place I’ve ever tried has been 10x better. I’m not one to usually complain at all, but after wasting my money I feel like everybody else should know what to expect here and needs to know to avoid this place. Also, if you think I’m just being over critical you should check some of the other reviews. Others also mention the terrible mac, the gross chicken, and bad service.
