We were driving up to Phoenix and made a pit stop for caffeine in Redlands. We made our way over to the Downtown area and saw this great little coffee shop. When you first walk in it would be easy to initially think this place is tiny and has barely any seating. Lo and behold you walk out the back near the bathroom and there's a large seating area. Super artsy back there! Lots of students studying. Your typical local spot in a small town. We instantly felt comfortable and "at home." We got ourselves some Honey lattes and they were delicious! The espresso was strong with great foam and taste. We were surprised by how great this place was just from the outward appearance. Great service too, the staff was extremely friendly! Awesome little local spot. They made burritos, to boot! Definitely will come back next time we make our way into Redlands!

I love Back Alley so much, not only for the delicious coffee and tea but also for the lovely atmosphere. The nitro cold brew is absolutely delicious and one of my favorites around. It’s also a great place to meet with friends or business partners because of the kind of environment it provides. The staff is always very friendly and so welcoming to others. I would highly recommend people try this place!

This coffee shop is so cute I love the vibe to it! Better than any of the ones in Texas. The girl with the flower tattoos on her chest was very friendly and informative about the menu. I was being super indecisive about my drink choice and she asked all the right questions to guide me to the honey cinnamon latte. Highly suggest it! Wish I could come back, next visit for sure!

Very cute cafe. Love the back area. Decor was rustic and charming. Coffee was good too. The only thing I was sad about was the coffee bean they sold. I checked the roasting date and it was more than one month prior than my visit date - not fresh. I wanted to buy the beans but after seeing the roasting date, I decided against it.

What used to be Angie's is now Back Alley Coffee. They've been open for a little over a year and they seem to be doing pretty good. The inside is what a neat, quaint coffee shop should be. It has the cool coffee shop vibe in the front and then in the back a little study/reading area with a bathroom in the front and one in the back. We tried the cinnamon honey latter and the coconut almond latte both over ice. The coconut almond was okay, a little sweet and has a different after taste, but the cinnamon honey was delicious. Not overly sweet and not too cinnamon like, which I prefer since I don't like cinnamon. Anyways, they also have daily deals which is nice to offer to allow you to try items from their menu and not feel bad about it if you don't like it.

Student friendly and spacious coffee shop tucked in downtown Redlands. Probably the best area for studying, meeting up with some people, or finishing up a paper. Highly recommend for students as there are plenty of desks, comfortable chairs, and outlets in the back room and in the front. Would highly recommend the oatmeal cookie latte here if you’re looking for a drink.

The coffee is delicious and unique (and the pricing really isn't bad, because you are getting something special)! The atmosphere is FANTASTIC- it reminds me of some kind of Alice in Wonderland study hall, and as you go further back into the shop it just feels like it's magically unfolding before you. It's such a cool place. That being said.... It's dirty in here. The bathroom is gross- they don't have paper towels, there's some kind of communal cloth towel/snot rag which is ALWAYS wet (not that I would ever touch it), and it generally seems to never really be clean (hair/dust all over the floor, etc). In the back room, there is a table (looks like a clock) that is clean on top, but covered in a thick layer of dust underneath and the floor seems like it's not cleaned very often. Final verdict- you should come for the amazing coffee and fun atmosphere, and stay out of the bathroom unless you're looking to sample the buffet of diseases on that gross towel (literally a stack of napkins would be better).

Such a cute spot in downtown Redlands. Great customer service and helpful. It was my first time there. I had the vanilla honey latte over ice. It's great trying these quaint spots instead of the typical Starbucks. So many custom drinks to choose from.

Ok so I moved here recently and have only known it as back alley and I love it ! Not busy, descent parking, and u like the dirty chai latte, however theirs always a new barista and only one staff so if their a line it will take forever.

Unprofessional...I wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible customer service from Matt. He needs training on how to treat a paying customer.
