I chose a standard table for my reservation and the hostess sat us at a high top table which was one of the other options. I am pregnant and it was incredibly uncomfortable and the chairs were very hard. She sat us directly next to the bar where there were drunk women actively yelling to talk to each other. They were the only loud people in the whole place and screaming in my ear. The water tasted really bad like tap water that was once near some lemonade. I took one sip and it was horrible. It wasn't that busy and it was so hard to get a server or hostess' attention to even pay the bill. Food was not bad, but the cheese curds in the poutine tasted stale like they were cooked an hour ago.
The bartender was attentive and helpful. The food was okay. Nothing to brag about. Kind of reminded me of bar food. My husband asked for his wings well done and they almost looked undercooked—the complete opposite of what he asked for. I got a burger; it didn't taste awful, but the presentation was messy. It's not too loud, but a very small space.
Kids hammered the waffles and chicken. You can sub any burger with an impossible one. Poutin was a little heavy.

Went there for my nieces 21st birthday and she had a blast. The food was delicious. Will go again.
If you’re on the fence about this place, don’t be, stop in!
A group of six of us walked into Batter Rebellion for dinner and drinks and were greeted immediately, which made a great first impression. It wasn’t busy at all, only one other group was there eating so it wasn’t busy at all.
We were given food menus right away, but no drink menus. For draft beer, we had to take a photo of the tap handles to see what was available, which worked out for the photo upload 👍.
That said, the food was excellent. We ordered a mix of burgers, sandwiches, country fried chicken and waffles, and beignets. Everything came out cooked perfectly and tasted great. The Goin’ Back to Cali Burger is a must-try.
Overall, great food and friendly service. I’d definitely come back again.

We went to Batter to celebrate a birthday. Our party was 10 people. The service was on point. The food was delicious. We all had a wonderful time.
First visit. Service was awesome. Went for the steak after looking at the menu online. When it arrived there wasn't any chimichurri in top like in the description and picture. Just a thin grizzly steak. I asked to swap the potatoes for more broccoli and they were more than happy to accommodate my dietary restrictions but when the bill came they had charged me $2.95 for the swap. $31+ for a horrible steak and a few broccoli. Super disappointed. The vibe was on point but we came for the food and it was a let down so we won't be back. Too many other options in that area to choose from than to come back and pay that much for subpar food. For those in the area - go to The State instead. It's right in the same area and the food is excellent.

I made reservations to have dinner with my spouse. This is significant to us because we never have time to go out, we're extremely busy, we have 7 children, we both work full time for the school and the hospital, and we are full time students. We made reservations for 8:30pm I requested to get off early from work to make it time as I work in Temecula got all the way there arrived by 8:35pm. Upon arriving we stood at the front deck and watched as the bar tender blatantly ignored us then another person from the bar couldn't ignore us looking over there trying to get their attention. So they walked over and said sorry the kitchen is closed, we expressed we had an reservation and he got the greeter to come from the back at which time the greeter smiled and said sorry our kitchen is closed, again explaining our situation to him as well he just smiled and said yeah sorry. No one offered to have a manger come talk to us no one offered us to come back only that we can sit and have drinks, we don't drink alcohol. Very rude personel very unprofessional environment and left us feeling embarrassed as the whole restaurant full of people eating customers watched us get turned away.
Q:What is there not to like about the food?
A: NOTHING!
My wife found out about this place from TikTok, however, one recently opened in, Riverside. I went back and forth with myself about ordering the Fowl Mouth or the Chicken & Waffles. The Chicken & Waffles won due to my love for spice. However, the spice level was non-existent in my opinion. I enjoyed my meal, the cornbread waffle was a great spin on the traditional meal. The spicy maple syrup was a hit as well. My wife ordered a burger meal, I didn't taste the burger but the parm fries were good! She felt like the sauce on the burger was overwhelming. I ordered a pineapple juice and my wife ordered a rootbeer but it was very flat so she requested the sprite which was also flat. After both drinks being an epic fail she stuck with the water which tasted like it was from a water hose (as a child I drank from one) lol. Our waiter was chill, he had a pleasant attitude. The hostess was NOT warm nor welcoming, it wasn't just with us she acted like that with the patrons after us as well. She wasn't rude or anything but her energy seemed dry as hell. Someone else should work the door. Hopefully, her demeanor is not always like that. Our wait was a little lengthy but the food was worth the wait. I can't wait to visit the Riverside location and order other menu items.

I am glad I was curious enough to try this chic restaurant out. The ambience was good with open space & decor that catches your eye. The hostess acknowledged our reservation with a nice smile. I liked the simplicity of the menu. I ordered The Frenchie, french toast with berry toppings & a creamy cinnamon butter. So delicious. The maple syrup was warm & the taste was cozy. My girlfriend ordered the lunch special Rebel Burrito & liked it. It was a breakfast burrito but what took the taste to another level was their Rebel sauce. It gave the burrito a bang, like salsa but creamy. It was also served with chips & salsa. Go here & enjoy the nice relaxing atmosphere & delicious food.
It was great! Will definitely go again. Nice atmosphere. And food.

Drinks weren’t good and the DJ for karaoke kept pushing back when we could sing. He said an hour wait and then changed what he said later when it was time to close. He just picked favorites.
