The staff were great and friendly plus the griddled chicken Sandwich I had was delicious. Overall no complaints with this restaurant. Plus the location was simple and Easy to find.

I haven’t posted a review in a minute but I recently had to stay in San Bernardino for a work training for a couple weeks and ordered Byrds and OMG can I just say how shocked I was?! I legit just thought it would be like any average hot chicken place and there weren’t many other halal places around so I took a gamble. It was AMAZING. I have tried ALL the halal hot chicken places and I swear idk what made this different but it was the best I’ve had. Not to mention they do wings!! I’m not a fries person but the fries were literally still crispy and delicious even after I got it delivered through door dash. Dave’s hot chicken leaves a weird bitter after taste and idk what it is but the chicken texture is kind if slicey and gross. Byrds was so soft and tender and it didn’t fall apart! The flavors were perfect and I even enjoyed the coleslaw and pickles from here while I usually opt out of those at Dave’s. My favorite halal hot chicken place is Spice-C in Tustin but the amazing service had that place beat. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and guys they have RANCH and mango habanero sauces as well as Buffalo! Much more variety than other hot chicken places. New calcite fav halal gem in San Bernardino. We’re from the high desert area and we’ll happily drive the 40 mins for this place.

This was our first time here. We kept seeing this place and finally decided to try their chicken.My hubby and I got the wings combo and sorry I wasn't able to take the picture of what my kids selected.Over all the chicken was tasty but a bit over priced.

came here on an afternoon with my husband we decided to get the sandwich combo it comes with potato salad & fries but my husband decided to sub for the fried green beans instead we both got medium the cashier said it was pretty spicy but after sitting down & eating it definitely wasn't that spicy & we could have gotten the hot. the sandwich itself had a lot of breading & i felt like wasn't enough bite of chicken, there definitely could've been a little more coleslaw but overall the flavor of the chicken was delicious. customer service, restaurant ambiance & food was good but i would not drive back out to come back

We got the Bird bomb and they accidentally put the spice on do the Bird bomb... Which is normal but we asked what to be on the side. However, the young lady was more than helpful and getting the kids chicken tenders without spice for the kiddos on the house. Thanks! Chicken was so good!

Medium was Hotter than I am used to at Other Hot Chicken places. Glad I also tried Mild. I Prefer Mild here for sure. After going to about 3 other Hot Chicken chains I didn't notice anything different or special about Byrd's. If I am in the area and craving Hot Chicken I will come back but I will not make a special trip to come here.

Chicken Sandwich medium: Pretty good, but like most chicken places, they simply use a chicken strip as the "pattie." I prefer an actual chicken pattie, a la Howlin' Rays (the best!).The fries were good, and I was impressed by the variety of the menu.The staff was very friendly.

The other day was the third time having Byrd's and it's simply amazing. For whatever reason, there was a third tender thrown into my combo this time (maybe because one of them was slightly smaller the the rest) but i was grateful. I’ve had Nashville hot chicken in multiple cities. This was really good. It is zabiha Halal. The flavors were great. I was especially impressed with the mac & cheese. The medium was hot enough. The mango lemonade was also amazing and they had great customer service. I would definitely come back. The other thing is that a lot of the times the sandwich is not made to be succinct, their sandwich was the perfect size. Their crunchy fries were amazing. Love the ambience. Can’t wait to come back again with the rest of my family.

Delayed review, but I've had Byrd's Hot Chicken several times. At first, you see the menu and you may think, $13 for a two tender combo? These tenders are HUGE. I mean it may as well be 1/2 a chicken breast. Each tender is perfectly seasoned, the potato salad and macaroni + cheese are decadent. The crinkle cut fries are really crispy and tasty, perfectly seasoned too. Their 24k sauce is legit too! You mind as well ask for extra, you'll thank me later. Other goodies are the Byrd Bomb (diced chicken tender over fries, toast and toppings), kids mac and cheese topped with chopped tender and the tender sandwich. Its ALL good. Parking is tight in the shared lot, but you can park closer to the grocery store and walk on over, it'll be worth it!
