Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Mid food. Workers are the slowest I’ve seen in a long time. One was on his phone at the cash register the whole time and I had to get his attention when in order to pay. I’m definitely not going back.

Not impressed. The first time I visited this place, I ordered a burrito in a bowl to take home, and when I went to eat it, the chicken was burnt and the whole thing tasted awful and bitter. A fly landed on my plate, so they replaced it with a new one. I asked the two people who served me to put the hot sauce on the side of my plate, but they ignored me and put it on top. I will definitely not return to this restaurant.

To the staff working on 6/19 around 1:45 pm, bravo! I can’t remember the last time I was treated with such kindness and friendliness at a restaurant. Thank you so much.

Pretty good but what's with the second scoop single piece of meat cracks me up don't bother.

We love this chain and boy is this one rough. From the moment you walk inside! No one wanted to work. Seriously worst experience ever and we just walked out. Place was filthy and had a bad odor. Bathroom was unacceptable. Whole 10 minute experience caused us to loose our appetite in general. Do better. Employees didn't want to cook advertised meat. Seriously! Too much to lost but it's awful. From the looks of the other posted reviews, I cannot believe this place isn't shut down yet. It needs to be.

This place constantly runs out of things they should always have! If it’s advertised in your menu they ought to have it.

Brelyssa, Andrea and JT are always super friendly & polite during my visits here. What a great team they have here! The food taste great, service is wonderful and everything is reasonably priced. Oh they also make their tortillas fresh! 5/5 stars, im switching from Chipotle to Cafe Rio??

It has been a while since we have been to Cafe Rio in Redlands we went yesterday 10/1/2024. I left feeling dirty, the floors were disgusting, the window to the food was filthy. Their specialty drinks were all empty, there were no napkins out, we had to search for a “clean table” and our table still felt sticky, the trash cans were over flowing. I even watched a worker put trash on top of an already over flowing trash can. I couldn’t believe the lack of cleaning and or pride the workers showed. Sorry but even the workers looked like they skipped their daily shower. We won’t be going back!

My husband and I love the food at Cafe Rio. We prefer it over Chipotle, and will take the longer drive to get here.

I've been coming here for many years, lately it seems like they are getting dirtier and dirtier. The soda fountain looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years, the glass where the food is made is super dirty too. The food trays look like they are just reused without being washed and the over all cleanliness of the restaurant is in sad condition. Did they get a new manager or something?? They should really shut down for a few days and do a deep cleaning.
