I’ve been coming here for a while and have always enjoyed it. Today I ordered menudo and machaca to go. I was told they don’t have machaca and was then told they “don’t really serve a lot of Mexican dishes,” which honestly surprised me.

When I ask coworkers where to get good Mexican food, Cheliz is always mentioned at the top of the list. Hearing that made it seem like the restaurant either doesn’t take pride in serving Mexican food or doesn’t see it as part of their identity. Because of that experience, I won’t be returning.

Now that I give a review it's going to be totally busy this place is such a diamond in the rough My wife and I go here quite a bit totally easy to park when we first started going it was really easy to get a table but now they're constantly packed and for one reason one reason only is because her food is dynamite they have American they have Mexican food I usually get chile rellenos menudo everything is totally fresh and you can get corned beef hash that's totally stupendous I absolutely love this place these waiters and waitresses should pat themselves on the back they do an excellent job of getting everybody taken care of never have to wait for coffee or water and they always have breakfast specials

Thank you to our server Daniella! She gave excellent service and took care of all our needs in a most gentle manner. The food came out hot, quick and was delicious. Breakfast burritos and breakfast combos (w/pancakes) were had and everything was cooked well. Will be back again.

We were passing by after our camping trip it's a very small place but they accommodated our group of ten. Staff is friendly and food is great it was funny because they have a dish Lettys which is my middle name the name I got by. We all got a kick out of that. If you're ever in the area stop by.

French toast no cinnamon? Food cooked with no love. Menudo meat had a weird taste.One of the waitress was so rude one time. No more for us.

Finally a breakfast skillet that tasted great! The potatoes were amazing. The server could have been more attentive. Plan to go back again for breakfast. Was getting tired of skillets at other places.
