I hate to write a negative review, but this was a very disappointing experience.Placed my order at 10.44am; the pancake combo with a coffee, a total of $15.11. Was given a buzzer. I watched 2 others who ordered after me and received their food before me.At 10.55am, a plate of food was placed under the heat lamps. After it had sat there for about 5+ minutes with staff walking past, I approached the counter and asked if my order was ready. The staff member asked if I had been given a buzzer, and I said yes but was concerned as to why my order was taking so long as i could see a plate of food sitting on the counter. I was told that I would be buzzed when it was ready. No one checked the order... I sat down and waited another 5 -6 minutes (approximately). I saw another staff member look at the very same plate I had mentioned and take it to the counter and then buzz me. I sat down and took a couple of bites, but everything was Luke warm.Spoke to the Manager Sabrina, who agreed with me and said that it was unacceptable, apologised, and would give me a full refund. But, after trying unnseuccessfully to refund, she said she couldn't do so as it had been on a different register, which was now closed down and if she put through on another register it would put them out $15.11, so she said she had to wait for another Manger ( Ashley) to return and she would put it through. I asked why she couldn't just balance the register and give me my refund but was told she couldn't.The restaurant was not very busy at all. Very disappointing experience.(Note: I attended the opening of this specific restaurant a few years back and was impressed by their meticulous attention to customer service and detail. It seems that there may be a need for retraining )
Something small, and something good to eat if you're looking for a quick get up. Workers definitely need some time off, and a raise. Place could use an update and more people. Overall moderate.
Disappointing ?. The gals behind the counter seemed a little lazy . The gal gave me 3 options for a side with the sandwich ?: 1) chips 2) fruit or 3) salad.I figured that for a $10 dollar sandwich, they must be homemade chips, so I decided to go with the chips. However the chips are the bland little bag of Jays - the kind you get in a sack lunch in elementary school.Later, I was asked by a person in my group to order another sandwich, & the other gal didn't even offer me a side option. I had to request it. And when I asked for a side salad she tried to talk me out of it because it's easier for them to hand out a.50 cent bag of chips (probably costs them .25 cents) .Finally, after ignoring our table most of the time (since they do not wait in the tables here. It's all done by an electronic beeper) ,.. suddenly a lady appeared and took our trays off the table. She was not gracious & didn't say thanks - she apparently thought we were supposed to be thankful to her for clearing our table - even though we were still talking. Furthermore, I think there were sunglasses on one of the trays. The person in our group realized she didn't have her sunglasses as we arrived at the car. So I ran back in and checked the table - no luck. And then I asked one of the gals behind the counter. She said NO, WITHOUT even asking anybody else or looking around, etc. And without showing any kind of affection or even saying "oh I'm so sorry.."So either the lady who cleared our table dumped the sunglasses in the trash, or they were somewhere behind the counter, or the lady decided to keep them for herself. That's another reason why they shouldn't interrupt your conversation to clear the table when it's not busy.
Let me tell you something people if you want fine cuisine positive and courteous customer service top that off with great food then you should give yourself a treat and tease your palette. visit the corner bakery Cafe
Going there half hour after opening. No one is greeting or taking orders. I said are you open? And they said yeah give me a minute. I just walked out. At least someone could acknowledge the customers waiting and told us it would be a short wait instead of watching them ignore us. I’m not spending twelve dollars an entree to be ignored
The food wasn't bad it just wasn't good also had some macaroni it was decent might try the pastas but no to low expectation for sandwiches or Deserets now
This is in regards to their catering. The cookie was soft-baked and delicious, and the chips and fruit collection were nice to have (though the fruit could have been fresher) - but wow, that sandwich. The grilled chicken was cooked well and tasty, but there were NO CONDIMENTS OF ANY KIND! Not on the sandwich, no packages of mayo or mustard or anything in the box... who does that? The juice of the chicken and the tomato were the only things that kept the sandwich from being a dry mess. Lame.
Average food, went for breakfast and the food was decent. Prices were average but portions were small. Probably won’t be back again.
I love their choose 2 Tuesday for $8.99 makes it affordable for me to feed the 3 of us. Also sign up for $5 off! I love their Chicken Polodori and Pesto Cavatapi with mix greens and garlic bread with water.
The chicken Pomodori panini was good. It was a little lite on the chicken. The chicken orzo soup was tasty. The chicken carbonara entree was luke warm and the noodles were over cooked. It was a big serving. The garlic bread was soft and lightly toasted. The women's restroom was out of toilet paper and paper towels. The baked goods in the display looked yummy.

I hadn't been to a Corner Bakery since I lived and worked in the OC. I was making a point to stand back to look at the menu, but they wanted me to step up and order. When I saw what I wanted and did step up, she walked away leaving me waiting. After a while I gave up and started to leave, which was noticed by someone else. Food itself was OK, though already cool.
Had lunch and we both ordered blts.. enjoyable, not too much food but is more processed than say what you get at McDuffs. Also had desserts which were very tasty. We were able to sit and visit which was relaxing. Recommend for a quick bite and visit with a friend.
Atmosphere is great, but it can get busy during lunch hour. The food is delicious and customer service is very helpful. The pasta Carbonara is delicious, the Mac and cheese not so much. The broccoli cheddar soup is delicious, a d the chicken pesto Panini is a must. The portions on the pasta are generous even for the cafe size.
Disappointing breakfast. I ordered an avocado bacon scramble bowl which had raw spinach. It was a very measly portion. My husband ordered the panini bacon breakfast sandwich which was tasteless and bland. The service was not impressive, the seating inside was uncomfortable.
Ordered a delicious turkey and avocado sandwich here today. I enjoy coming here but the prices are too high. I ordered just half a sandwich and the price was over $10. That's too much money!
