BEST GELATO I HAVE EVER HAD!Every flavor I sampled was amazing, the owner was extremely friendly, and it was a great value for the price. I couldn’t wait to eat it and ended up finishing almost half of the first scoop before I finally stopped to get a photo of the gelato. The coffee flavor in the coffee brownie scoop was so rich and delicious and the orange sorbet I tried was like drinking the most perfectly ripe blood orange juice. This place is definitely deserving of its high ratings and I will definitely be back!

I was really excited to come here for the first time. Pistachio gelato was good. I was disappointed with their customer service or lack thereof. The young girl serving ice cream seemed like she didn't want to be there and that we as customers were not welcome. How you make people feel leaves a lasting impression. Teach the girls some basics of greeting customers instead of rushing them out.

The gelato is out of this world - I had never imagined how good an orange gelato would be, and the vanilla gelato is like the "mantecado" I had in Cuba as a kid, that I thought I would never taste again and was resigned to lesser vanilla ice cream. Not a place to sit and eat, but the people are really nice.

I decided early on in the week that we would treat the kids for ice cream. Initially we were supposed to go to Cold Stone, but I felt like something different - something less franchisey (I’m aware that’s not a word). On our way to the 10 freeway, I decided to search for ice cream shops and saw Happy Camper. We live and shop on ratings so I didn’t hesitate to head over when I saw their 4.9 rating on Google. The store smelled wonderful and we were greeted pleasantly so we decided to stay. I could write for days but I’ll get to the point of my five stars. The ice cream tasted handmade. The young lady behind the counter offered samples when she saw that we were undecided. My girls (10 and 8) couldn’t decide between strawberry and cake pop so the young lady recommended both. They got one scoop of strawberry and one of cake pop, and that combo was a hit for them. I love rocky road but I think they were out and she recommended German chocolate. Although I LOVE German chocolate cake, I wasn’t sure about ice cream, especially because my taste buds are very stubborn and they want what they want. But…I took her recommendation and I’m glad I did. Now I know I can get my German chocolate cake two ways!!! My husband got the oatmeal cookie - he loved it. All in waffle cones. My 8 year old dubbed this is our ice cream spot, and she’s somewhat of a boss, so there you have it. Not sure why the store is named Happy Camper yet but we all left happy campers. Should have taken a photo…sorry…next time.Vegetarian options: I don’t remember the flavors but they are all fruit based. I will definitely try one of the flavors on one of our trips back.Parking: The spot is hidden but worth the effort to find. It’s right on the other side of Sun Medical Supply and can be accessed from the driveway off Nevada.Kid-friendliness: The young lady was very polite and gentle with the girls. She seemed to understand their flavor dilemma and offered a creative solution.

The "go-to" place for authentic gelatos and sorbets. I have had to toss the stuff from other Redlands frozen dessert shops. HCC gelato is the best for flavor, mouth-feel, and satisfaction.

I absolutely love visiting Happy Camper Creamery. The staff is always so friendly and the store is delightful. I enjoy trying new flavors each time I go. Today, I had the coffee chip with a brownie. It was so delicious. Their sorbet is vegan and gluten-free, so it is a good option for my friend who has dietary restrictions. If you love Gelato, come here ♥️Dietary restrictions: They have many sorbets that are vegan and gluten-free.

There is nothing better! Having travelled to Italy many times, I can still easily say that the pistachio gelato from Happy Camper Creamery is without a doubt, the best! The strawberry, mint Oreo, cafe, and dozens of others are quite amazing as well as well. Thanks for keeping us happy ?.
