Had the vegan spicy chicken burger and Cajun fries. I enjoyed it a lot. Downsides are that it’s a little spendy and also outside so bring your own hand sanitizer etc
i love this place so much. best vegan burgers in the universe.

Geat tasting burgers. Pricing- not too bad.
We were here on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line and plenty of seats available. Not a large menu but still plenty to pick from. They have meat or vegan options and chicken options as well. The fries come with salt or cajun and the burger can be regular or spicy. You need to order in the alley at the door under the smile 😊

Ordered 1 burger, no line, took 30 minutes. Pretty sure they started the grill right after we made our order.

Spicy chicken sandwich is where it's at with some side of hate and bbq sauce. Peach tea if they have it, and grab the peppermint shake when it's there. It won't disappoint. Service is awesome, recently upgraded to stools outfront😎 check email out don't miss out on the Hot fire they serve up

I was delightfully surprised by this joint. The burger was bigger than expected and super delicious. Positively one of my new top 5 burger joints.

Drive 2 hour round trip to try this place out… sadly didn’t go as planned at all. Ordered my food which they said would be about 15 minutes which is fine! They gave what I ordered to the wrong customer, so my burger ended up taking 45 min, instead of them apologizing and making a right the other customer was apologizing to me… when my food finally was ready I asked for a extra sauce. The worker there proceeded to try and charge me that’s when I said “are you serious I just waited 40 min” she didn’t end up giving me a free ranch. And that’s why I’m posting this. Horrible service and unprofessional. Never done this but I think this is deserved.. hopefully I get a response and they can make this right.

Big fan of the vegetarian burger. Fries with skin on being able to made less salty is also a big plus.

Visiting from Washington with a friend and haven’t had these burgers in a while so decided to go today. The food is as great as I remember! ? great vegan burger, loved how well the girls that work there treated us and since it was pretty hot outside they even asked a couple of times if we needed water. Great music! Would definitely come back here next time I visit. ?

I was here on a Thursday afternoon, it was a slow and quiet day. I didn't have to wait in no line so it made the visit that much better, nice and friendly workers. Now the double smash burger was on point, patty and bread ratios done nicely. The burger had a healthy portion of sauce and Big slices of pickles. The fries had great crispy texture, possibly doubled fried. The fries also have the skin on, traditional skin on fries which personally I loved that. Great over all quality, I ordered 2 doubled smash, 2 large fries and 2 lemonades, just over $30 not bad for today's prices.

The burger was OK but nothing out of the ordinary. Overpriced for what you get. Nice atmosphere in the alley though.

Located at the widest point in Orange Street Alley, this establishment is a walk-up to order at a window outside with no lobby, where my partner, his family and I came for lunch as recommended by the graduate in May. Hate Burger does have windows facing State Street, but that’s just their kitchen. It’s cool to see how your orders are being made. Their menu is simple, offering both meat and vegetarian burger options. Unfortunately, there are no combos; everything has to be ordered separately. We decided on a vegan spicy burger, a spicy burger, a regular cheeseburger, and a regular hamburger. The vegan burger is a vegetarian burger. These were simple, cooked to perfection, and had the right amount of lettuce, tomato, and onions on a brioche bun. It does take a while for our food to come out, and that is because it is being cooked fresh. There were 11 barstools under a covered retractable awning where one could enjoy their meal. The patties were good size, and the burger itself is pretty filling but a little pricey. The fries with the skins left on them were served crispy, hot, and fresh. The staff was friendly. It was a solid meal, and if you are in the area, give it a try.
