This five stars is relative to expectations for the place. It is literally built onto the front of a grocery store. You order from a small window and take it to go. I only tried the Turkey, mac and cheese, potato salad, and french fries. The Turkey is a bit peppery on the seasoning but paired well with the BBQ sauce. The barbecue that I had a few times was very flavorful. The rib tips are meaty and tender as are the pork ribs. The chicken leg and thigh was juicy and well cooked with a nice smoky taste. I am not a fan of the barbecue sauce, but that's a minor technicality. I enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and the baked beans. The potato salad was not bad, but not my favorite of the sides. This is a take out establishment. I am not sure if there are places to sit and eat.
I finally got a chance to stop by and try this place. It’s connected to a grocery store but it’s right in front so it’s easy to find. I ordered a 3 meat plate with the brisket, sausage and chicken quarter leg with a side of Mac and cheese and bbq beans. The portion size was really good.
