Terrible experience.
The service was extremely slow, the food came out cold, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested.
Our waiter Sebastian had nothing to offer except repeating, ‘Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.’
This was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had. I truly hope it remains the worst.
Definitely not the IHOP I remember - won’t be coming back.

Reading the recent reviews I am not surprised at all that customers are having a horrible experience here!! The female manager is beyond horrible for business! She's rude to customers, doesn't make her staff do what they are supposed to and because she herself doesn't have a friendly, welcoming and respectful attitude, neither do her employees. The entire horrible environment and experience at this store directly fall onto her extremely poor and below par managing skills. She discriminates against potential employees who are more then qualified and have relevant/recent experience with open availability and a history of never calling off all because of their race!! Think I'm lying?? Then why is her ENTIRE STAFF ONLY MEXICAN???

Waited 30 mins in the lobby. There was no one to seat my family or greet us. After 30 mins we were seated. We should have known better and just left. 20 mins for someone to come and take our order. 45 minutes for food to come out. All tables were dirty and the whole restaurant was a complete mess. Went to the women's restroom and it was filthy and there was a piece of shit floating in the toilet. It was the worst experience we've ever had in any restaurant. The worst of the worst. We won't ever come back to the Redlands IHOP

First, please inform your staff of the military discount policy. Mario, the server, claims there isn't one but we come here VERY often and we've always had the 10% off discount applied. I even informed him that it's advertised in many places online and that we've always received that discount and he just blew me off as if I didn't just inform him and we still tipped generously though I shouldn't have. That truly pissed me off and will likely make us go to Denny's down the street instead from now on where the military service is always appreciated (and the discount is applied to the entire check, not just the meal), staff are informed and have a positive attitude, and the prices are better.
And we just paid $70 for 3 breakfast meals which is honestly insane. But Mario's the reason I'm not leaving a 5-star review and potentially why we may not go back.
This place is almost always empty when we dine here and we usually arrive at 6:30pm which is prime time for most restaurants on a Friday. But we were the ONLY customers when we arrived. Keep up the poor service and this place won't survive.
As for the positives, it's always cool and comfortable inside, the servers are (usually) friendly, the food is good and arrives in a reasonable amount of time.

Got sat at 1:40 waited till 2:05 for anyone to pay attention to us 2 workers made eye contact & continued to chit chatting it up unbelievable.
It's a nice clean place to go for a midnight bite. The food is good only thing is the portions are too small. The service is excellent, atmosphere was quiet, if you want to just chill without the kids or noise, this is the place to go after 11pm. I've gone there 3 times after 11pm and I like it.

I came in with my family. We were served coffee and had no silverware to stir our coffee. When the food FINALLY arrived, we still didn't haven't silverware. The waitress said she'd bring us our silverware. By the time she brought it, our food was cold. What is wrong with this restaurant. I've never been to one that didn't have enough silverware to eat the food. That's ridiculous. You need to do better IHOP. I'll never return to this place again. We paid 100.00 for our cold meals. A waste of my hard earned money.

cleanliness and sanitation are supposed to be a top priority at a restaurant. I snapped a picture of the clean list, it looks like the IHOP staff is supposed to clean the restrooms at least 3 times a day, many of the days are missing afternoon and evening cleanings The restroom was filthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!management needs to get fired. Management isn’t doing there job. I’ll be getting in contact with corporate regarding this. So disappointed with who ever is in charge here.

Until recently we enjoyed breakfast here in Redlands The last couple of times in the restaurant has been very difficult. The environment has changed drastically. The place is terribly managed wait time to seated ( ridiculous ) manager setting in a booth laughing with a customer not caring about the employees an slow food service. Until a change is made our group which comes in every week will be making a change. Customer service is not good here. Manager needs to be sent back to school. Poor image for IHOP. RESTAURANT.
This is my wife's favorite go to breakfast spot.
