I really wanted to like this place, but I’ve run into a few issues. When placing orders for pick up I didn’t receive chop sticks, napkins, soy sauce, ginger or wasabi. The worst part was that I ordered a kani salad and I found long strands of hair mixed in the salad 🤮.

Without a doubt this is the best sushi I’ve had in the IE! The ingredients were utterly fresh and everything melted in our mouths! They’ve got a great selection of beers, Sapporo, Kirin Ichiban, Orion and Asahi, and a dozen or so delicious rolls to choose from! Our favorite was the yellow tale, it was the most simple roll we ordered, which let the flavor of the fish shine. But everything was excellent! The staff is so friendly, patient, and genuinely nice. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Kyo Sushi catered a large event for us, and they truly went above and beyond. The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious — we received so many compliments from our guests. Their team made feeding over 200 people feel completely manageable and surprisingly affordable.
The Kyo Sushi team was professional, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. If you’re in Redlands or the surrounding area, I highly recommend them for any catering needs. You won’t be disappointed!

The food was good but not great. The carpaccio was dry and packed in flaver. The same can be said about the yakisoba. The noodles were good but the whole plate itself felt like it was s leaking flavor.
The service was ok. The first waiter that we had was very inattentive. He was replaced the the waitress that took over was good.

Absolutely my husband's and I new favorite sushi spot! Our server Sia is an absolute doll and sweetheart. If your an avid beer drinker try the Orion beer (suggested by Sia) - we have been converted from Sapporo. We've never tried true Sashimi and we asked Sia for her opinion on the scallops (large ones) and we were not disappointed - if your an avid wasabi lover this is true wasabi flavor added onto it! Our top 2 rolls for the night was the Baja which was absolutely fresh and delicious 😋 - 2nd was the Fantasy! You must end the night with the Fantasy roll as it just caps the night off with amazing flavor and fullness!

Fresh, delicious sushi with a casual atmosphere. Feels welcoming and clean. Waiters could be a tad more attentive re refilling empty drinks, but that’s a minor flaw for me. Overall, we had a great time. Will come back to this place, and recommend to friends.

Small, intimate, cozy, very good customer service! My wife and I have been trying to find a good sushi place (little hole in the wall) since Zutto's went out of business in 2020. This place has surpassed every other Sushi spot we've gone to. The Fantasy Roll by far was our favorite (recommended by our server who was on it and had great customer service with us - unfortunately we didnt get her name!) and is the best roll to end the night on. Absolutely our new favorite spot and will be returning!
