Lappert's Ice Cream - Downtown Redlands, CA

Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming heart of Downtown Redlands! I stopped by this ice cream shop yesterday after work. The inside of Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream is stunningly decorated and perfect in appearance. I absolutely loved their island-inspired design and the laid-back ambiance. The staff were friendly, humble, welcoming, and incredibly cooperative. They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks. I chose Brownie Sundae with Pistachio, Double Fudge Chocolate, and Vanilla Ice Cream. They beautifully decorated the dessert with toppings like Sprinkles, Peanuts, Chocolate Syrup, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top, making it look even more photogenic and irresistible. I took a few snaps of my beautifully decorated dessert and started devouring it without further delay. The dessert was so bomb! It was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. I loved it so much and finished it in 10 minutes! I enjoyed the dessert. I had an amazing time and it’s no surprise that why Lappert’s Super Premium Ice Cream was crowned San Bernardino County’s Best Ice Cream in 2025. A great place for Ice Cream, Smoothies, Dessert, and Drinks. The prices are quite reasonable and budget-friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their Dessert items and Ice Cream.

The ice cream and shaved ice are amazing. Their flavor selection is vast and so delicious. Highly recommend!!! It is a little pricey but it is so good!!

I love this ice cream shop so much, so many choices and flavors to choose from and they are all delicious and fair priced. The consistency and texture is on the thicker side, which is right up my alley. I highly recommend their sweet cream and matcha combo (goes so well together)! Service is always great and they are always busy but each employee takes their time and has so much patience especially if you wanna try different flavors. I highly recommend this place, I love it so much!!

This has to be one of the best ice cream places in California. The shaved ice cream and even all the other flavors are to die for. Every time I come here there’s a line so when you come by make sure you’re not in a rush. Especially on those busy weekend nights, milk shakes are amazing as well!

Amazing shave ice. Great service. They were clean and staff was great at explaining to kids what they were doing while making the shave ice. Nice and cold inside. Seating available both inside and outside.

Whoa, two employees with a line to the door. Where's management? I'm not going to rate the service. It's unfair to the two employees. Normally no issues here. Hopefully this is a random one time event. Edit: one employee solely doing snow cones. one serving everything else.

Authentic shave ice- they have two classic shave ice machines and they do a great job with their variety and quality of flavors. The shave ice service is slow and there’s room for improvement as the staff continues to learn how to troubleshoot the machines/ice blocks. However, the staff does a great job and making sure the shave ice is packed well and fully covered with syrup. Will definitely be coming back with the understanding that there will be a wait after ordering.

Flavors we like- matcha, guava, passion fruit, li hing mui. The mango and ube were also good. Lychee is nice but too mild and easily overpowered by other flavors.

Lappert's has such delicious flavors and interesting flavor combinations that it's become our go-to downtown ice cream spot. If you're looking for the creamiest of creamy textures, this is the place for you. I appreciate that they've participated in some school and library events as well. Prices are lofty, but they're also generous with coupons floating around town.
