Hot "croissant" sandwiches (well warmed in the microwave) are immensely better than that sounds, and the donuts are delicious. Love they have profiteroles with proper bavarian cream.

Best cream filled puffs. Soft moist airy dough and tasty vanilla flavor filling, topped with a touch of chocolate glazing just melts in your mouth. Egg roll with bits of ground meat (beef?) and veggies nicely cooked ( hint of sweetness from veggies' caramelization) leaves that flavorful taste in your mouth. Take away is wrapper isn't crunchy anymore (soft and saggy). Place clean and organized but cold reception by lady in front (shy maybe? Or busy?) Nevertheless food is worth coming back and most likely be back for more.

Ordered from doordash and my order was done before I could get there! Was greeted by the sweetest man who gave me two free donuts for my big order, even put extra free cream puffs in my box! Donuts were a 10/10, same with the service. Thanks for making my day! And for the delicious donuts!

The donuts are terrible and taste like they are two days old. They are so overcooked they were shriveled up. The grease was dripping out of the (maple bar) donut and was all over my hands that I attempted to consume. My daughter was lucky she got donut holes. My daughter asked why the donuts were so cheap and now we know! Needless to say we will not be going back to this shop!!

This is our favorite redlands donut shop! We come here at least once a week. The donuts are always fresh, probably because they are extremely popular and busy so they are constantly making them. As others have mentioned, I especially love their homemade egg rolls. Ask for plum sauce on the side! The staff are wonderful and kind. They are always very sweet to my kids. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in town! Oh also, they make excellent Thai tea!

Been going to this spot for over 20 years. I now live in Las Vegas going on 4 years and still will visit if I'm in Cali. Their egg rolls and cream puffs are the best I've EVER!!!! had!!!!!!

This is my favorite all time Donut shop!The atmosphere and employees are polite and everyone there customers as well are grateful for this place. Walked in had a not so so donut shop smell the employee was sitting in a chair in the back eating we asked to use the restroom and the toilet did not have a toilet seat and piss stains all over the toilet along with graffiti inside the bathroom and bathroom mirror it was disgusting basically... and I got two maple bars that looked as if they were anorexic like they were the runts of the batch that were tossed in it was not very welcoming I reccomend Jenny's donut shop like maybe a couple minute drive away

Egg rolls were good! But the donuts were not great. They tasted like they had been sitting out for a day already. Lots of donut places out there, so this wasn't anything spectacular. The egg rolls were worth a try though, still not amazing enough for me to come back. They had this cool plum condiment sauce to go with the egg rolls. It's a light sauce though, wish the plum flavor was stronger! 3 donuts and egg rolls cost about $11 with a 50 cent charge using a card.

Best donuts in Southern California, hands down. Ignore the haters - they only like things shiny and new, regardless of quality. What you get at Mr. J's is QUALITY. These donuts are the same quality and lightness that they were when I first had them as a teller in college, when a Saturday manager brought them to the office for everyone - and I've been hooked since then. The atmosphere is perfect so ignore the haters - the shop is in an older building and the ambiance is fine. The place is clean and their donuts are perfect. I was so stoked to be here again after being gone for 19 years and finding the shop in the same location selling the same, high quality donuts and Apple fritters. Texas (where I currently live) has NOTHING on Mr. J's.
