I’m disappointed with my recent experience trying to get catering information from Olive Avenue Market. I submitted multiple online requests asking to be contacted, but I never received a reply. I also called the store and was told the catering person was only available for about an hour in the early morning, but even when I called during that exact time, no one answered.
I went into the market personally, left my name and number, and was told I would receive a call back — but again, no one ever contacted me. After several attempts, I still never received any response at all.
During my visit, I also noticed that the sandwiches were not made fresh; they were already wrapped and sitting in the refrigerator. That was disappointing and made me reconsider using their catering service altogether.
I understand places can get busy, but I would have appreciated at least a simple phone call or email acknowledging my request. Unfortunately, because of the lack of communication and the quality concerns, I decided not to move forward with their catering.

It’s a cute cozy spot. The decorations are cute but unfortunately it’s disgusting. I’ve been a few times to give it another chance but it only got worse. The inside is always so hot and I have seen FLIES everywhere! The place does not get cleaned. The last time I went I waited in line forever while the employees were on their phones which is so disrespectful. There was literally one worker with brown hair and tattoos and piercings that was kind and seemed to be hardworking. She made everything good but I can’t help but notice the unclean environment. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you want to risk getting sick.

Very friendly staff and yummy treats! I often get their traditional matcha (slightly clumpy due to undermixing but still tasty) and pumpkin cobbler bar (ah-mazing). They get some of their treats from a local baker and some from a place in LA. I really like their breakfast burritos too but it is very unpredictable when they have them. Overall I still enjoy every time I visit!

What really makes this place shine, though, are the people. Leslie is absolutely magical—her kindness, warmth, and genuine care make every visit feel so personal. She has a way of making you feel like family the moment you walk in, and that kind of heart is rare to find. Rosie is also incredibly kind and welcoming, adding even more to the wonderful atmosphere.
