They will still call it “vegetarian.” However, when I asked if the rice was cooked in animal stock and if the beans were cooked with lard, the waitress didn’t know about the rice but the beans were not cooked in lard. She asked the kitchen about the rice and came back to tell me the rice was cooked in stock. So much for vegetarian options, let alone vegan. I ended up ordering nothing cuz animal stock is not for me.

I heard a lot of good things from locals, and I was looking forward to Oscar's, but they disappointed. I ordered Chilaquiles. Rice was a bit dry. The beans had melted shredded cheese. No queso fresco or sour cream was offered. The sauce on the chilaquiles was bland. They did not taste like authentic mexican chilaquiles. Most likely, sauce was poured out of a can. It was not bad, but if your looking for authentic nostalgic mexican chilaquiles this is not it.

Food was bland. Service wasn't good at all. They didn't bring my wife's correct drink until she had to ask, after they brought food no server ever asked us if we needed anything else they didn't pass by our table once. Couldn't order extra drinks or toppings. Had to get their attention to get the check. Look else where for food. Rancho Burrtio and chimichanga are exactly the same, the carne asada is not seasoned at all.

The best Chile Verde burrito I've ever eaten. The service is usually better than what I experienced that evening.

I had the enchiladas with chili verde in relleno sauce. They were great. The place could use a facelift, but the food is wonderful and our server was very helpful and attentive
