It's funny when small town yokels try something for the first time and give it a five star review like they know what's up. I been to a lot of ramen spots, and this is by far the worst. Stop trying to appropriate everyone else's culture and get a real job. Zero stars, in fact I feel as though I'm owed stars at this point..

At first I was annoyed by their hours, and closing down when I can eat lunch. But whatever, cause its their business, so boo-hoo to me if I dont like it. BUT THEN their hours are not the same online as they are posted just outside the restaurant. Tried to call serveral times during supposed business hours for weeks but got nothing. They have posted online recently, but maybe they went out of business in the last two weeks since then. Idk but the gate is always locked and no one answers the phones, all during posted hours.Id give it an extra star if i could actually get to the food, cause it's actually pretty good. Or, rather: was good.

What are the ingredients for the vegan broth? I got an allergic attack after eating ramen with shoyu broth. Saw it was vegan but ramen restaurants are usually Japanese or Korean run and they don’t typically put allergen ingredients in food. Do white people make the recipes?

My first time going here and it was not bad. I asked questions to the employee and she was really nice and had me start with something simple. I enjoyed their ramen, for me I needed just a little more salt. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen which is a basic ramen and little to no salt. They do have another ramen that has more salt so I will try that next time. Other then that the ramen tasted fresh and packaging was perfect. Broth was stored separate which I loved and noodles/pork/ egg and other toppings were stored in a solid container. I actually ate mine at the firestone waiting for a oil change. Next time I'll be going for Dining outside and trying their sake. Will post again. Also I went at 1pm on a Thursday it was not busy at all. Walked in, ordered, and was out in 10 minutes.

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! Sorry but I heard some great reviews about this place and when we had it, we wish we had never paid the $30 for two tonkotsu ramens. The broth was so watery I thought I was eating instant ramen. I actually would've preferred to have that instead. The extra chashu was $5 and I only received TWO Extra pieces from the regular amount it already comes with which my friend ordered. The picture shows the total pieces, pieces because they look like they ripped apart ONE full slice and gave it to you like that. No soy sauce or any additional spice was offered or even put into the broth apparently. I understand it's pandemic times, however, the staff was completely absent in the entirety of our visit. Can't do less than ONE STAR review but it deserves nothing. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. If you want overpriced bland food, this is your place.

The spicy miso was excellent! Thick broth, good amount of noodles and full of flavor. Considering this spot is close to my house I'll be stopping by more often under one condition and the ONLY reason it got 4 stars. 3 small pieces of pork and one of which was all fat. Everything else was delicious.. let me give you 5 stars next time.

Finally redlands gets a ramen place. I feel like this location is cursed because everytime I'm by vine st it's almost always a new establishment. At first i thought this place was closed, but when you get to the door it instructs you to go inside and order at the bar. The pricing is what i expect from a ramen place. The food is really good and I'm defintely coming back. There are plenty of addons for a little extra and the broth has lots of flavor. I hope it survives covid. It has potential to be a great dinner spot for a beer and meal with friends. Vegetarian friendly; my friend doesn't eat meat and he was able to order off the menu with no problem.

Ehhhhhh... not very tasty at all... if you add A LOT of soy sauce it kinda makes it kinda edible... small portions and way to pricey... finally, my gyoza kinda smelled funky... I'm convinced... not coming back

I've rarely posted a negative review on a business because I try to be fair considering various circumstances. Not to mention, your customer service has to be absolutely terrible! Let me tell you, I will NEVER return to this place and will deter anyone who asks about it. The customer service was awful!!! Let's start by the phone call we made. It's a Monday night and my hubby and I just want to have a decent dinner. Ramen sounds amazing. We call to ask if they have outdoor seating and what the wait time is. The person on the receiving end is less than thrilled. No personality and acts annoyed by the phone call. We get there and it's a ghost town. They have one table outside and no clear instructions on whether you order inside or if someone will be greeting you outside. We walk in and granted, there are signs saying that masks are required, at which point my hubby realized he forgot his. There is no employee to be found and we just walked blindly through the oddly laid out "restaurant". We finally walk over to a place that looks like menus and a counter of sorts. There's an employee that's behind a partition with gaps and is on her phone. She doesn't greet us. My husband says "hi" to her first and she says "hi". Doesn't say, "can I take your order" or "can I help you". She just stands by the register staring at us. She then peeks around the partition type thing and asks my husband, "do you have a mask?" My husband replies, "no sorry, I forgot it". She says something like, "you need a mask". My hubby gets a little flustered and wants to leave at that point, but I tell him, "just tell me what you want and I'll order and pay". He's pointing at the menu and telling me what he wants and another lady appears out of nowhere and says to my husband, "you need to go outside!" Not "I'm sorry sir, but without a mask, I'm going to have to ask you to please step outside to talk about your order". No, she was extremely rude. There was NO reason for it and I'm shocked by the lack of care considering there was nobody there. They clearly need the business! Granted, had they been busy or even had ONE customer inside, I can understand the persistence, but NOT ONE OTHER customer was inside. The employees themselves were nowhere to be found! Plus, there was at least 15 + feet between us and the employee with a huge desk type thing in between us! It's almost comical how absolutely ridiculous these people acted. NEVER again will I visit this place!

Slow service. Soup was very cold.

This was our first visit to Ramen Song and it will be our last. We were expecting homemade noodles, more than bacon thickness pork belly and we only received 2 skinny, overcooked pieces. We order extra spinach for $1 and although we know spinach shrinks, we received. The equivalent of 1T (and yes we measured it. We were told it included beans sprouts but they were MIA. The sesame seeds were missing as well. The broth had very little flavor; bordering on being watered down The hostess when we picked up our order was rude and set a negative tone for our meal. Very disappointing, order priced and we hope the owners will look into improving what they wish to offer to the community

I've been here a total of 3 times hoping the next meal would improve. It didn't. Noodles are sticky and mushy and the broth (no matter which one you get) is flavorless. Really wish it was better, I LOVE ramen! I hope something changes and soon, I need good ramen in my life.

Would surely recommend trying out this place. Fantastic mood, fresh dishes, awesome customer service. They never disappoint.

Maybe I'm not a qualified ramen snob, but I think this place is hip, fun, and offers tasty food. Nice servers. I super appreciate having a vegan option. My only complaint: the broth is never hot enough, but now that it's all takeout because of the pandemic, it's not really a problem. I look forward to eating in-house again.

This is not going to be one of those reviews that completely trashes Ramen Song. The only reason I am giving it a 1 star instead of a two is because this average seriously needs to come down. So we came to this place in July 2020, amid COVID pandemic. We were craving ramen and didn't want to drive to OC or LA...we were pleasantly surprised to see a ramen place in Redlands that we haven't tried. We walked in a totally empty restaurant (take out only) and the gentleman at the bar who took our order was very friendly. We ordered a Tonkotsu ramen, 2 spicy miso ramen, and a vegan ramen (our daughter is vegetarian). We also ordered pork fried rice, edamame x2, and vegetarian gyoza. This was a grand total of $100! I have never payed close that...EVER! Turns out I was charged an extra $5 for extra pork that I didn't order and didn't get (good that I didn't get it considering it wasn't great). Still $100 seems awfully high, particularly when I pay a lot less at Shinsengumi, Yamadaya, Kopan...etc. We have eaten A LOT of ramen. Well let's talk about the ramen. Before we do, it is important to mention that they didn't give us the gyoza, and it is lucky we checked the order before we left or we would have found out after arriving back home in Beaumont that we didn't get the only thing my daughter ordered. THIS IS NOT TRADITIONAL RAMEN BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. Many of these reviews say the ramen was inedible. There seems to be particular disgust with the vegan ramen. I am honestly surprised by this as the vegan ramen was the only bowl that had any semblance of flavor at all. The noodles are CLEARLY NOT made in house, but they are edible. The broth is NOT boiled in bones nearly long enough, and I highly doubt it is made with trotters. The eggs had a good flavor but had the same consistency as the tofu after it sat in the broth (complete mush). Overall, I would have been disappointed had I paid half for the ramen, the fact that I paid $100, and was overcharged to top it off is straight up absurd! The pork fried rice was liked by my wife and boys, and although the flavor was okay, the consistency of the rice was akin to porridge. My daughter said the vegan gyoza was good. The vegan ramen is NOT for the faint of heart for certain (very green and chlorophylly - think canned spinach or blanched kale), but as sad as this is to say, was clearly the best ramen dish on the menu.If you have NEVER had ramen in your life, you might not be that disappointed. If you are looking for an even half way decent bowl of ramen, anywhere else will do...the ramen that is sometimes served at sushi places is better and not nearly as expensive.
