Very happy I tried this! When me and my daughter came here, we were expecting something mediocre but filling at best. My expectations were surpassed!! I ordered the spicy tuna roll, miso soup, and shrimp friend rice and my daughter got a california roll with miso soup. It was filling and she continues to ask when we can go the next time!! Only thing to be prepared for is the wait. We waited about 30-45 mins before being seated.

Great service! Yummy food! Always coming back for more! Our favorites are their udon and baked salmon sushi. So much choices though. Definitely a must try when you're in the area!

Friend and I went to have dinner and were seated outside. Despite being a bit cold, they soon brought out heating lamps when more people were there. My friend had unsweetened iced tea and I stayed with water. We split the Chicken and Calamari Teppan option and were both full after eating our plate and our fill. The vegetables were DELICIOUS! We substituted the rice with fried rice and didn't regret it. Although we miss the showy nature of the cooking of the dish, the food is just as good and the mochi balls were worth it! (If you have allergies, don't forget to mention it!) They are very accommodating and friendly.

Sometimes the service isn't great, takes them forever to come by the table again. We frequently have to wave someone down if we need something because it takes so long for the server to come back. BUT the food never disappoints!! The sushi chefs are super friendly and accommodating to specific requests if you sit at the sushi bar. I'd give 1 star for service, but the food is 5.

Pretty good sushi restaurant for the Redlands area. I had the tiger roll and had no complaints about it. Sushi tasted fresh and mixed well with the sauce toppings. If the tiger roll was good, I'm thinking the regular sushi will be as well. Portion size was good for the price paid. Restaurant has a Teppanyaki section where chefs cook in front of you. Staff was courteous and attentive to our needs.

Great food, great service.. I've dined here many times with my family or for date night with my husband. Wait staff are friendly and are attentive. Food and drinks are always delicious and satisfying. I would recommend this place 100%!

Shiki sushi is located in the shopping center close to old navy. Plenty of parking in this huge shopping center. Nice location and clean/new looking restaurant . There are 3 types of dining options. Sushi- no all you can eat, so the price adds up quick. Teppan grill - the food is made in front of you on a large table grill. Or Korean bbq style where you cook your food at your table on a propane grill plate . We had the sushi. Everything was very fresh and good.***Beware of the tables with propane *** I am a tall lady, when sliding across the booth , I hit my knee on the protruding propane box . There should be a warning that this contraption is under the table. I can walk but my knee is black and blue. I may come back but sit somewhere safer.

Dinner was great, but unfortunately I was sitting at one of the tables where you can cook your own food at. Noting I never got up from my table but when I left the restaurant I noticed there had been grease or soy sauce that had dripped on to my brand new white shoes. Upon calling the manager she kept saying "it never happened before" but it just did to me. No sorry or recommendations to help me out. Defending herself with no empathy toward my situation. Truly upsetting for me because these are $130 shoes that I have no idea what type of substance this is on them to properly remove it. i'm sure i'll get it out but the fact she didn't want to compensate or show help or empathy proves the managerial work ethic is ridiculous.

A decent sushi spot! There is usually a wait and they don't take reservations, so plan on arriving at least 30 min early. There are lots of seating options (grill, table, bar), and it is a very lively atmosphere. The sushi is pretty good, and prices are reasonable in comparison to other sushi restaurants nearby, so you get what you pay for. My go to is the Rainbow Roll, which always has fresh fish and is a decent size.

For not being a fan of sushi I must admit that this restaurant was great at warming me up to it. We were only able to sit at the bar area due to the wait times and we were a bit disappointed that the menu items were limited in this area. We did with what we could order and it turned out alright. We ordered the fried rice which was a simple, but yet very developed flavor combination. The popcorn lobster roll was soooo good! We probably wouldn't do the jalapeño poppers again it was just okay.

The wait can be pretty long however it is worth it. Great food, great service! Definitely recommend

I've been going to this place before they expanded. The taste of their sushi is very fresh and the portions are perfect. My go to sushi roll is Rainbow and Alaskan.

This is the second time I've been here and I gotta say I'm officially not thrilled about it. First time I came I went with my sister and her bf for lunch along with my little one. Ordered a few rolls that were way over priced for what they were. Also, the Teppan wasn't open nor the hebachi "self-grill/bbq," so we're basically limited to drinks at the bar, sushi, and basics like rice and teriyaki chicken. My rolls weren't great like I said, over priced with barely any fish and imitation crab filled with rice, and my daughters rice was cold and chicken very dry. Went today and was disappointed again. Went for dinner date with hubby. First thing we notice is this blinding white notice in the menu saying because of Covid there has been $5 increase for anything filet mignon and $8 for lobster. AND that was definitely not there when I went with my sister ONLY a few months ago, which Covid has been around for two years! Anyway! He wanted to try the teppan or hebachi, since he's not a fan of raw fish, most of the rolls of sushi. So we got there saw people waiting, they said there was a wait for the TEPPAN, they didn't say anything about the self grill tables which were completely empty. So we settled for that. When seating us, we got sat at one of the hebachi tables. Then looking at the menu we saw we had different ones for the hebachi option. So we asked and apparently they don't even allow that anymore... SO we were limited to sushi. Now again my fiancé wasn't happy but he settled for the popcorn lobster roll and I settled for baked lobster because I can't have any raw meats or fish right now. He thought his roll was okay but cold for it being fried, and I was not happy with mine at all. It was STONE cold! And it was suppose to be baked? I didn't say anything to the waitress because it's not like she cooked it and she was the only one running all the tables I saw! When there was 5 girls up at the hostess desk. So I just asked for a box and my fiancé said he'll eat it for lunch tomorrow. Also the place is filled with NATS! Literally!!! I killed 5 at our tables alone! I took one picture of our rolls that looked good, but pictures can be deceiving.... I'm just very disappointed... only one star, and that's for the poor waitress running around doing everything.
