Sugar Bloom Cakery & Coffee

After reading the reviews I couldnt wait to try the coffee & sweets. Upon walking in & seeing all the beautiful cupcakes I was looking forward to trying everything, but chose my favorite the cinnamon roll unfortunately it tasted like cardboard so when I asked for a fresh one (and greeted by the surprised look from the girls working) just out of the oven it was softer but doused with sugar icing over the cardboard flavoring. I was hoping that the coffee & blueberry iced tea would b delicious however again they were both very disappointing. Sorry to say Sugar Bloom this purchase was not worth the $29 I spent.

As a frequent customer of this café, I’ve come to appreciate the inviting atmosphere and consistently good quality of the food and coffee. It’s a pleasant place to spend time, whether for a quick break or a casual meeting. However, I have noticed that the service can be quite slow at times, even during less busy periods. While the staff are always courteous and friendly, a bit more efficiency would greatly enhance the overall customer experience. I hope to see improvements in this area, as I genuinely enjoy coming here and believe it has great potential.

Such a lovely experience! Workers were really welcoming and offered such a kind presence and oh my gosh the pistachio matcha is actually to die for. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because I couldn’t wait and gobbled them up as soon as I could but the macarons 10/10 so so good you must go in and try because everything served presentation and excellent taste! I can’t wait to try more ☺️

7/4/25 I’ve drove by it several times. Finally got the chance to try it. Everything there is delicious. Great vibe and that chorizo puff is fire!!! All it needs is a little side salsa, maybe they had it and I didn’t ask. I also had the iced cafe de olla they recommended. Great great coffee and pastries!!! Definitely returning!!!

The cupcakes and pastries are always so fresh and delicious! The service is exceptional; they go above and beyond (see photo of drawing on my cup…that’s me!) I come to Redlands once a year on an annual business trip and NEVER miss visiting this delightful place. ♥️

Let me start off by this place being so beautiful inside, when you walk in you see the display of yummy goodies, we ordered the strawberries and cream pastry. 1000/10, the two lovely workers are so sweet. The place wasn’t filled with people but as soon as I walked in more people came in. Check out the pictures of this place. Great service, great coffee and AMAZING pastrys.

We recently ordered a wedding cake and cupcakes here for our special day and could not be more pleased with the outcome. The lemon raspberry cake and with chantilly cream and pearl accents was a hit for our guests. The cupcakes were gone in a blink of an eye and our 8 inch cake was bigger than I had expected, which made my husband happy to have extra pieces to take home. On another occasion, we purchased the cannoli's and the strawberry Dubai cinnamon rolls and OMG! Best cannoli's I've had by far and the cinnamon roll was so good we almost didn't share. Worth the stop if your ever in the area.

I spend $30 on 4 pastries, a bit expensive but I believe is worth it

Super cute. I wanted to love it but unfortunately not at all the case. I purchased an assortment including cannoli, danish, cinnamon rolls, croissant, etc. Not one was good. The cannoli’s were thick, covered in fake chocolate and uneatable. I love pastry and all of it was dry and the only thing you could taste was processed sugar. Also, it was really expensive specifically considering most of it got tossed.
Staff was friendly, but I did witness a conversation between a customer and an employee. The customer was upset cuz they lost her order submission. They didn’t act very helpful they just handed her another order form like whatever. Once more, considering the price, the customer service could be better.
