The Oxtail smash burger is nothing short of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Do not be fooled by those youtube or tiktok videos showing a nice hefty burger with oxtail on top. We paid $13 for just the burger, no fries, for a burger the size of a small cheeseburger from McDs. When we asked where the oxtail was, we were told they don’t put oxtail in it, the patty is simply cooked in an oxtail gravy/juice which there was no sign of either. We were actually gaslit. Don’t waste your money on the burger. After this experience, I can’t trust them with any of their other menu options. First and last time eating here.

Customer service was decent nothing special. The time to place the order and get the food was reasonable and especially for it to be made to order. It was Best burger I had in a min! Way better than shake shack, in n out & 5 guys! Way more flavor patties are big for a smash burger. I was full couldn’t even the whole burger my husband couldn’t either lol. And we can eat!
The burger comes with fries but not enough it was like 13 fries and crumb in a big bag. Also the oxtail burger should not be called that because I didn’t notice any oxtail or sauce! The burger is priced really good which explains the lack of oxtails because I didn’t see any but I did see a string of meat like it must have been like a 1/4 tsp maybe. I wouldn’t drive there for 30 min again if it was an actual oxtail burger maybe.

The creme soda was the best part of my meal. My wife looked it up via tiktok. The wings from Wingman tasted better than my Jamaican food. We ordered the oxtail bowl, meat patty, smash burger with fries, and a kids' bowl. I did not enjoy any of those items. The employees greeted us with a smile and had great customer service. There was a good amount of foot traffic, so someone likes/loves the food. The only thing on the menu I would try if I were to return would be plantains. The flavors were left to be desired.

The Presentation Was ok but very falsely Advertised, the Jerk Oxtail Smash Burger had no oxtail, basic ground beef, reduced onions, cheese and jerk sauce. The rice and Peas had no flavor with oversized onions and bell peppers, the Oxtail was tender but salty, the salt over power any possible herb or spice and the brown stew chicken was very bitter and tasteless. Browning over used and greatly disappointed being I drove over an hour away to support just to be let down. The Mac in cheese has way too much granulated garlic, and fries was overly salted! The best thing was the Festival bread!!! The cashier told me it was fried cornbread lol completely unknowledgeable of Jamaican Food. None of them working was Caribbean, and had a Spanish woman dumping browning in a pot. I Drove from LA just to get the Nastiest Jamaican food I believe I have ever tasted in my life! I’m so sorry to have to leave such review but Something must change, my kids didn’t even eat it and we eat Caribbean food weekly we all took a bite and the kid top went back on the plate. No scallion, all spice, ginger, garlic, green sauce, brown sugar, vinegar or etc was tasted.

I absolutely love this place. I like kind of far but whenever I take my grandson to his dr appointments I make sure to stop by here on my way home. I have extremely sensitive taste buds so everything is spicy to me lol. So I won't give my judgment on their spice levels. But it is well worth the torture for me 😂. They have always been super nice and welcoming when I go. Highly recommend!!!!

The young lady with the braids does not have good greeting or customer service skills. No smile, hello, not even a you’re welcome when I said thank you! I tend to get the same thing every time I come here which is the oxtails. Sometimes it has meat and sometimes it doesn’t but because oxtails overall has little meat I give them grace but for a $20 bowl if you can visibly see there is is little to no meat on the bone why not throw in another oxtail?
