Redlands is a better place with a restaurant like this! The Beet Burger is one of the best plant based burgers I’ve had, hands down, anywhere! If the Living Root Cellar was in West Hollywood or San Diego we wouldn’t be able to find a seat! Thank you for bringing healthy and delicious food to the Inland Empire! 🙏

Food was excellent. Very excited for the unique vegan menu. I had the Goliath Burger and it was really good.

Sooo delicious! …you know it’s healthful! I drive miles, out of my way just to enjoy the treat.
Great selection of food and it’s nice having another option for vegan breakfast!
Nice atmosphere. Great staff!Great food, prices, and service!Just wish they were open longer in the evening.
A few tweaks and this could be a gem. We were surprised that a nice, cozy vegan eatery like this served everything in take-out packaging. Even if you’re eating in! This is weirder because there are pics of food on plates (seemingly in the restaurant) from other users on here so this was a recent decision? We received breakfast burritos in take out boxes and took the wrapped burritos out of the totally unnecessary boxes to eat them out our table. Then came the burrito - the potatoes in it were almost as hard as coins. Gross. We took them all out. The coffees were weak. We had no choice but to drink water out of single-use plastic water cups. All of these things could be easily fixed to improve the experience/ reduce waste. Not a great breakfast. Friendly staff though. Nice environment. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-25
We had a quinoa salad and the raw tacos. Salad was light on quinoa and heavy on the greens. The tacos held up well with the cabbage leaf (clever), the taste was good; just not enough for me, personally, to want again. I really like the raw taco recipe I use and am biased. We sat outside at one of the two tables. We enjoyed the area and people watching. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A long list of Sammies and salads greets you at this cool basement cafe. Tried the hummus and Mediterranean. Both decent and made with wholesome ingredients. Located next to a whimsical metaphysical shop which is great to look around in.
Unique restaurant in the old downtown area of Redlands. Great atmosphere. Large menu. The beet burger was a little dry but still tasty. Very dense bun. The raw tacos had a thick white cabbage leaf. The avocado toast was basically a sandwich, rather than an open-faced toast. Friends say this place is terrific, so maybe we visited on an off-day.
This place is so awesome. Vegan food - health food - great vibes and great prices. We will be back - big thanks to the friendly staff
More than a juice shop. Burgers are really good. A tad dry, but good.
Love this place. Everything I’ve gotten here is absolutely delicious and good for you! Staff and owner is so friendly and helpful!
