The braised rib tacos were excellent! We ordered the brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese and shrimp tacos and those were good too. Had the house old fashion which was “ok” but will order something different next time. We will be back!

Seven of us came to celebrate one of my grandsons birthday. Our ages varied from 23-69. Separate members of our group come here quite often. We were seated quickly, offered water etc. Our server was training another and we were perfectly fine with that. The service was exceptional. Banter back and forth exactly what our group loves. The drinks were good as always during happy hour. Unfortunately, the food was far below what we consider your usual standards. The brussel sprouts were okay. The bacon wrapped dates were overcooked. The happy hour tacos were horrible the carne asada tasted like school cafeteria meat and had the consistency of ground meat. The cauliflower was hard to find in the taco and the sauce was so hot one in our group could not eat it. (the server didn't charge for that one). The birria was edible. The whole experience was brought down by the awful food. We all have had excellent meals at The State however, in the future we might think twice before going here again.

This State in Redlands is not as good as the one in Rancho Cucamonga or in Riverside. I was really disappointed with the poutine in Redlands. The crock came to the table with no more than three quarters the way full, half of it was cheese with maybe eight fries and the tiniest bit of meat. We had three orders of the poutine with all of them lacking in their portion. The poutine is absolutely delicious from the other two restaurants! My side salad that came with my sandwich was also small when compared to the others. I won't eat at the Redlands restaurant again. My best experience has been at Rancho.

We enjoy the unique dishes and atmosphere of this downtown Redlands destination. Food is always well prepared and tasteful. The classic paneling and whiskey bar atmosphere make this a pleasure for a nice dining experience.

Sat at the bar to enjoy the great selection of Whiskey. Truffle burger was cooked perfectly. Skylar made an excellent whiskey sour; she is a great bartender. The prices on whiskey pours are excellent. I'll be back my next trip to Redlands
