Most restaurants these days don't put to much love in into their food, Tom puts all the love into his recipes. My kids loved it as well . Will definitely be following and highly recommend. I heard about this place when someone showed up with platters of beautiful meats and sides at an event I attended. I should have taken some pictures of my food (sorry) but I ate it and forgot about the real world for a while :-).Seriously tender meats, amazing sweet cornbread casserole, solid mac n cheese, tasty BBQ sauce to top it all off with!!

Our experience with Tom was great from start to finish. After we initially called, Tom immediately contacted us to answer all of our questions and make recommendations based on our group and occasion. Ordering was also easy other than trying to choose from the many great selections. Before our event, Tom contacted us to review our order and verify the details of the order and delivery. On the day of our event Tom sent videos of the order and a map tracking link to track their progress. There was never a question of our order or when it would arrive. When the food arrived, Tom set everything up for a perfect presentation. Then the food... Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork was melt in your mouth delicious. The sides were just as great. Portions were generous enough that we were able to send extras home with our guests, which everyone loved. Such a professional and pleasant experience. We have found our new go-to BBQ for large family events. Tom's is highly recommended.

The fellas and I decided to cater our guys night out and this place ended up on our voting list. While only one of us reached out to them all of us were impressed. Although this place was booked up for the week, they made sure to squeeze us in and give us options to make the whole night a success. There was 16 of us that night but the amount of food could easily serve triple. Everyone left with at least some trays of the pulled pork, but their tender brisket was immediately the first to go. A couple sauce bottles were included and they really helped level up the already delicious food. Even their sides and dessert refused to be overshadowed by their slow cooked tender meats. The boys and I decided on Mac n cheese and potato's, but they were kind enough to throw in a corn bread casserole and packs of bread to go with our whole order. This place cooks right, caters correctly, and sure do know their way around a brisket. Toms is truly ran by a gentleman and a pitmaster.

I've been to several off the pops up in the area. food is great. mac n cheese to die for all the cheesy goodness you could ask for with a slight smokiness to it. service is always quick. he works with his children which is always awesome to see a family own business. Tom, the owner, pit master is a great guy and have had several conversations with him about his bbq and he is very knowledgeable also pulled pork sandwich and rowdy fries are amazing

Tom and his crew were amazing!!! They catered my 40th birthday party on September 2, 2023. I read the reviews before booking (all excellent) but still had a little worry since I didn't get to taste Tom's bbq before my event. Over 100 people attended (with several bbq lovers/critiquers) and everyone complimented the food; they even went back for seconds and thirds. The meat was well seasoned and tender (tri-tip, pulled chicken, and brisket), the sides were very tasty (mac & cheese, beans, corn casserole), and the banana pudding was yummy. I even went to Gerard's Market in Redlands a week or so after the party to pick up some of Tom's bbq sauce - so good. I highly recommend Tom's catering service and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much for making my event a memorable one!!!

I would highly recommend Tom and his BBQ Pitstop to anyone who wants quality and professionalism. We had him provide ‘drop off’ catering to a Labor Day wedding party for about 60 people. From the start he was professional, knowledgeable, and seemed to always have our best interest at heart rather than trying to squeeze a few extra dollars out of us for things we didn’t need or want. He was responsive in our communications which is always appreciated when hosting a large party. I never got the sense that he would ‘flake’ or make a mistake in our booking. He showed up exactly on time and with everything that he promised.The food itself almost takes a back seat to the upfront experience, but it shouldn’t. Everyone at the party was impressed and had seconds. The pulled chicken was simple but very moist, flavorful and easy to eat. The mac and cheese was great, and the corn casserole was a wonderful mix between creamed corn and cornbread. I wish he had dropped of the recipe as well. Even my friend from TX who doesn’t like any BBQ outside of TX asked to take a big tray of leftovers home. ‘nough said. Tom’s recommendation of the banana pudding was taken with some reservation, but after about 10 people came up to me asking if I had tried the pudding, I had to agree – it was bomb.Would recommend Tom's service and BBQ highly.
