I went to Maui with my family when I was 30 weeks pregnant and the only thing I wanted was shave ice and man did I! We stayed in Kihei for about 8 days and I walked the 5 minute walk from our rental 6 of those 8 days (sometimes twice a day)! You can’t order a bad flavor and I can’t wait for the day I get to go back to Maui to have Ululani’s again!

Good selection of flavors including multiple varieties of Lappert’s ice cream to put inside shave ice. Also options for snow cap and beans for toppings. The shave ice is good quality - they use the shave ice machines you’d see in Hawaii. We got the POG and No Ka Oi flavors with vanilla ice cream and snow cap. Yum! Enjoyed the experience. There is a nice, clean restroom inside.

I came to try the shaved ice. I waited in line for 23 minutes only for the cashier to tell me that shaved ice was no longer being served for the day and the 2 people in front of me were the last that could order shaved ice. I waisted my precious time waiting for nothing. Bad service. No sympathy for waiting and paying customers. I’ll never return here. I no longer want to even try the shaved ice.

3rd time here. First time the shaved ice only had enough syrup to cover the top layer. The second and third no shaved ice. Mechanical failure was to blame.

Our family absolutely loves Ululanis!! We originally found it in Maui and have now visited Hollywood and Livermore, as well. Make sure to get condensed milk on top!! Yummy!! The best!!
