Me and my family went yesterday 7/5/25
It felt like the AC was not working , it was hot in there. The cookies were hard , and no favor to them , we got some chocolate and only the toffee was good . Didn’t like how , most of the items were not labeled , and if they were it was by a paper and tape . Candy apples were left out and not covered, the scale wasn’t working , saw a lady in the back making Carmel with no gloves , boxes were open, not organized. Do not recommend.
The worst quality management you can find
Kathy knew the product very well and guided to make our ultimate decision on what to get from their candy shop. We tried 2 different sandwiches which were amazing and we tried their smooth and rich fudge along with the Carmel crunch. We highly recommend this shoppe to those who want a great experience and great Sandwiches!
Stopped by in the evening to pick up something sweet after dinner, and this place did not disappoint. The store is absolutely lovely as is the staff. I believe I met the owner that night, and she was absolutely wonderful. Answered all my questions and was just a kind person. I bought a mix of items, all of which have been amazing. You have to try the brownie!!! It was soft, decadent and had the perfect texture. I also got the banana muffin, which I had this morning with some coffee, and it was heaven!! Almond clusters were amazing and so were the almond turtles. The chocolate is sweet but very smooth and not overly sugary. Will definitely be back.
Edit: came back and bought some of the homemade bread and it's freaking good. The everything bagel gets nice a toasty but remains soft on the inside.

The treats range from marshmallow to taffy and chocolate. I would recommend especially if you'd like to impress with the craft and novelty.

I had a very pleasant first visit. i explained that i had twin daughters turning 16 and i needed chocolate arrangements. I gave a brief description of their individual personalities, like/dislikes. The ladies here used their expertise and made me 2 separate orders to fit each girl. ❤️. above and beyond. (and they have free samples)

We were there yesterday evening around 7:00pm. The owner was very rude. We had questions about pricing. Yes, it's by the pound, but where was the pricing for each item and it's price per pound? Coffee prices? Nothing was priced visually. She acted like it was a pain having us there. I felt bad for the guy helping us having to ask her every little thing. The candy was great! English toffee and pecan turtles of sort. Look at the Big Bear candy shoppe's pricing. It's so easy to see with no questions. It's by the pound, too. The female owner is rude, rude!
Best candy store around! So many fudges to choose from and so mouth watering. Love the old fashion vibes as soon as you walk in ❤️
The lady was extremely friendly and offered to make everything fresh. There are sugar-free candy options, freshly backed breads, jams, pastries, and more. This place is much more than just a candy store. Highly recommend!
Dietary restrictions: Lots of sugar-free options, and they seemed very willing to work with us to ensure we had the best experience possible.

Highlights great egg and ham bacon Swiss bagel and really great caramel apples better then Disneylands. They have cold ice tea refreshers I ordered the mango tea the owner is really helpful and patient. Coming back soon to stock up on Carmel apples. 🍏😁
Apples are very crispy and green with enough sour to balance the sweet caramel

First time in the village Candy kitchen and it will be my last time. Walked in the door, asked if they were open. The worker was very rude. Asked if they had chocolate fudge , She made me feel like I was asking taking her away from something important . We felt unwanted by her. We got three different flavors of fudge , maple was dry, and tasteless. Chocolate explosion was hard as a rock and tasted powered and divinity left a nasty aftertaste like soap. The store is very hot inside and chocolate was melting in bags. I’m very disappointed because I wanted to find a new place to get fudge.

Sad to say…. Thought I’d stop in & try a sandwich. Cold greeting by the girl at the counter & although it didn’t seem busy, I waited 15 minutes for them to make my sandwich. I think they realized it was forgotten, as the counter girl asked a 3rd employee to make the sandwich & as she proceeded to make it without gloves ( the primary “chef” was wearing them, I just had to cancel & ask for a refund. It just all added to an unhappy experience for

I am a truffle connoisseur and these were the worst truffles I have had, threw away. Had an off flavor, the chocolate didn't crystalize likes it's supposed to for mouth feel, and it didn't have the chocolate shell with like separate inside, it was like it was all one. They also have you pay their credit card processing which is kind of petty.
