We absolutely love this little treasure that has relocated from Oak Glen to downtown Redlands. I've been coming to this shop since I could walk! Caramel apples are my favorite but all their treats are delicious. They also make delicious sandwiches, coffees, popcorn, pickles and so much more. Staff are always courteous and polite.

I’ve gotten chocolate and other treats here in the past which were great but unfortunately I came in for a coffee and it was HORRIBLE! I ordered a “latte” but you couldn’t even call this drink a latte. It was basically black coffee with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I paid $6.00 and gave a $1 tip and still had to add my own sweetener because of how bad it was. I didn’t even end up drinking it because I was so dissatisfied with it. They really need to have someone else making the coffee because it was terrible :(

What an amazing little store, we got sandwiches (Honey Baked Ham doesnt come close). And left with all types of classic sweets. Can't wait to stop by and chat with the owner again, she was so sweet and helpful.

Such a cute little shop, with all kinds of homemade candies, sweet treats, jams, baked goodies, fresh made sandwiches, and Leslie is such a sweetheart! Highly recommend!

The service was so unbearable the employee had no patients and she started giving me attitude when I asked her a question never coming back.!!!!!

Their teas are GREAT. I normally get their mango tea because its not overly sweet and always refreshing. The samdwiches are made to order and you choose everything on it. Employees are always friendly and easy to talk to. Walking in, you feel that it definitely has mom and pop vibes.

Love this hidden gem. Best sandwiches, usually no wait, healthy, filling with a cute little eating area with dessert in full display.

My daughter and I came back to Redlands to revisit the antique store and hit up Jack's toy shop. We parked near Bank of America and was pleasantly surprised to see a candy shop ahead of us!! Who doesn't love a candy store!? The old school vibe is nostalgic and welcoming. Best of all, customer service is top notch! I really wish I had gotten the name of the lady that helped us. She was very warm, welcoming and friendly! I've visited Southern California enough to say that many people are very smug and rude. My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised that no one in Redlands were like that! We bought a caramel double chocolate pecan candy apple. Then later returned for a peach smoothie and chocolate covered strawberry latte. Very good and refreshing. This shoppe is on our list of go to's when in town visiting family!

Forewarned is forearmed and I didn't do my due diligence on this one, so it's on me. I have been looking for a bakery in the Redlands area for some time that sold fresh baked pastries and continue to be disappointed. My visit to the Village Candy Kitchen was another disappointment, not just for the baked goods, but particularly for the candy as it's in their name. (I do want to note that the sales person was friendly as that seemed to be an issue for other patrons.)Waking in, it's hard not to be overwhelmed by the amount of products spread out and in the display cases. The shear number of items raised questions about their quality (the amount of product turnover needed for everything to be fresh would be large), but I was willing to give them a try. We went on a Monday evening and purchased two different types of cookies (dipped shortbread & shortbread with sprinkles), a s'mores fudge ball (basically fudge mushed into a ball) , 2 different sour balls, mint & chocolate fudge slice & maple nut fudge ball. Everything tasted off, bland, or stale. The cookies were stale and didn't have much taste to them. The s'mores fudge ball did not taste like s'mores. The maple walnut fudge ball did not taste like maple or have any nuts. It had a chemical taste to it. The mint fudge slice tasted as if the mint flavoring was artificial, heavily artificial, with an aftertaste. The sour balls were OK, but again left a not quite pleasant aftertaste.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place for anything that we've tried and they gave me no reason to go back.

This cute place has candies, sandwiches, baked goods and freshly made beverages. We were told that most of the food is prepared right inside of the business. The chocolates and gummy bears were delicious and fresh. The beverages were refreshing. I'm not sure what happened with the cookies but they were dry and tasted old and stale. They were thrown away. Several reviewers have said that the workers were rude to them but the two older ladies that served us were pleasant and attentive. This was our first visit. It was good enough for us to give them another shot. We will return.

I have been to Downtown Redlands many times and have always wanted to stop in. I'm so glad I did. It was a little busy, as it was Saturday afternoon. The Young lady behind the counter was very polite and so eager to get our orders correct. The food was amazing and the coffee and teas we had were so good.I will absolutely be back. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was quaint and fun to be in.We even picked up a loaf of delicious brown bread and some candy on our way out.
