The service was very good! The people that were serving us were very focused and nice. The interior was so cool, and elegant. Sandy and Valery were the people serving us, thank you for serving us??
exceptional service from val and martha, the co-owner of the winery! their tasting room is beautiful and very family friendly.
this is a great visit right off the 101 especially if you’re looking to escape the heat.
Very open space. Nice atmosphere, and good wine too
The tasting room associate seemed unfriendly and annoyed that we came in. I felt like our group was being rushed to get out of there. Despite this, I liked the wine tasting flight and unique venue.
Edit: our visit was Weds, July 24 at 11am.
Had a tasting today with my family. Really impressed. Quality and clean wine making, with excellent value. The rose blew our minds. Well done. We are big fans. Thanks Martha, it was a pleasure to meet you. Keep doing what you are doing.
It was awesome experience picking up load. Fast loading. and thanks for letting me stay night before picking up the load.?
We are 5 Spanish friends, we visited the winery on October 9, 2023. Bonnie attended us very kindly and very professionally. Of course we took several wines, highlighting the reserve chardonay, the cabernet sauvignon and the pinot noir, exquisite!!! Then we visited other wineries but the best wines were undoubtedly taken at Bodegas Barra. By the way, the building is very original and cozy. one hundred percent recommended
The food and the music was great!! The whole family had a really good time!
Beautiful wines! A bit hard to get to, but definitely worth it. The rose was crisp, their petite Syrah had a huge body, and probably the best desert wine I’ve ever had. Will be picking some up at my local wine store after I run through the bottles we bought there.Update: the lady at the wine store knew exactly where their wines were and said the Pinot Blanc was her go-to summer wine! Excited to try it
For years we have been attending the “Grab a Bite Night” at Barra. We make an effort to meet up with friends and listen to the live band, buy a few bottles of wine and try something new from the food truck. We appreciate these local events and the opportunity to see people from our community. The wine is great!

Lovely venue! Covered, shady tables.
Bart’s of Mendocino Wines, is a breathing taking atmosphere with it’s round brick building and peaceful central fountain including a pleasant courtyard with plenty shade trees and green grass; giving you shelter from of warm summer sun.
Shout out to Bonnie who gave my best friend and I a history filled tasting on Barra Wines! We were staying nearby and had a bottle of Barra Cab at dinner the prior night so I knew I had to check this place out. Bonnie was exceptional in explaining the two labels and history. We loved the beautiful 70's architecture tasting room, wines at affordable price points and loved the dessert wine with chocolate pairing. Would definitely join if I was a local and would come back to enjoy their wines in a heartbeat!
Friendly and helpful staff, delicious wines. Reasonable priced bottles and tasting.
My friend had a really cool wedding here.
