Steak was overcooked for everyone except the 2 who got the T bone special. We were a party of 7. We had a waiter named Devin very attentive and was very nice probably the only reason I ranked it as high as I did. Would've been a 1 star without this kid and his friendliness.

Traveled here from Lakeport and it was great took my mother, we had the prime rib combo plate and we had the seafood combo plate and the ribeye, everything was perfect, warning the drinks are made strong.

How is this place able to stay open? Besides serving tasty food, the serving sizes are huge! The service was prompt and the staff attentive. There was a wait for the table but it was well worth it. The prices are more than reasonable.

Our favorite place zone 1960s. Quality, food, service, atmosphere it's a vibe. Best place for a steak. Love the house salad dressing. Recently had the grilled salmon and asked for a cup of minced garlic on the side. It was so good beautifully grilled. Recently order Seafood pasta too. It was delicious.

Well 4 of us went for a birthday dinner and the service was just meh and the almost $200 worth of steak was completely bland and my medium rare filet was more like raw, I was told by the waitress that it was normal to lightly salt the meat and grill it and given some other lame excuse as to why my meat nearly raw I've been going here for the better part of 40 years but sadly I think that will be my last go around.

Prime rib was perfect, service was friendly and quick, prices fair, busy place, limited wine selection, but still good enough for a glass with dinner.

We love going to the broiler. We go quite a bit at least once or twice a month. I love the people that work there. They're really nice and enjoyable and personable and the bartender's awesome! He's always knows what we want to drink and he knows how to treat people really good!!!

The only thing that was good was the baked potato but really small. The lamb chops and stake was very raw hopefully my husband and son don't get sick. The salmon has no flavor. We came here 2 years ago and it was a five-star. Now after tonight I would not come back.

Having made my order, making it CRYSTAL clear, NO cheese, I can’t eat cheese on my salad, which they delivered correct to our table. Then came my main course, a 6oz filet steak. It came cooked as I had asked, but it came with a brown butter on top.

My first mouthful was lovely, then the second mouthful I thought I’d try the brown butter with it. OMG! The taste of cheese was so overwhelming and made me feel instantly unwell. I asked the waitress is there cheese in this butter, she said chef doesn’t tell her as it’s a secret recipe. One of our party tasted the butter and told me it was blue cheese. I then asked the plate be removed. She offered me another but I was feeling so unwell I couldn’t eat anything.

The bill came once the rest of our party had finished. I was paying so checked the bill, it still had my steak on the bill. I asked why, she told me the owner said to charge you.

I approached the owner and in a very polite way asked why I was still being charged for my steak. He said I ate it. Lol When I said I ate two mouthfuls, he then said ā€œyou’re a liarā€, in almost a growl like manner….And he walked away. Shocked beyond belief that I had just been called a liar I followed him to the till area, giggling as I did because I don’t think I’ve ever been called a liar in my 62 years on this planet.

Excuse me I had two mouthfuls, he then said I ate 75% of my steak and you are lying. There were four other people sitting at our table would you like to come and accuse them of lying too? The owner took the steak off and disappeared into the kitchen.
. Making your waiter aware you can’t ’do Cheese’, I will be unwell. Then being served cheese, accused of eating it, being called a liar and paying over $600 for the privilege, it’s almost laughable, except the name calling.

So eat and pay for what you’re given, take note when your waitress informs you that her tip starts at 20% and you’ll be fine. What a very unpleasant experience and what a rude and extremely unpleasant owner.

This place is how all things used to be. The food the service was excellent. If you drive through, stop by and taste a bit of
nostalgia, and it will take you back to the past. Food was cooked to perfection and there was so much you will take home a doggie bag for sure!!!!

Trina is an absolute treasure! She remembers us from all our previous visits, along with our preferences. She's kind, treats you like family, and the BEST waitress we have had anywhere in all of our travels. We had a group of over twenty, and she and her fellow waitress were so attentive and accommodating. Thank you again, The Broiler Steakhouse, for flawless food and, especially, your service:u
