A friend recommended this place when I was visiting. It is a Greek restaurant. I've been to many but I must say thay Firehouse Taverna is THE BEST that I have been to in a long time! The pita bread is fresh and delicious! Their Vegetarian Feast is great: falafel, rice, spanikopita, babaganoush (eggplant).... I also had their Fish Pita which is Alaskan Cod with an incredibly tasty tartar sauce. The service was speedy. I did not have to wait a long time. Food came out quick....

These are the best gyros I had so far in San Fernando Valley. They were full of flavor with plenty of meat. The fries were perfectly seasoned and very crispy. Trust me, I am from Chicago and tasted many gyros in my life time. Staff were very friendly. I totally recommend this place. I will definitely come back.
