It's closed!! We were able to book a reservation on open table, but when we arrived there is a “for lease”sign on the door!! Sad to see flame go!! It was always yummy!!
The restaurant was closed with no explanation. We didn't dine there. Open Table shouldn't be taking reservations from Flame anymore. They have gone downhill since changing owners and often just close with no notice.

We found that Flame Pizzeria had apparently changed ownership or management since the last time we were there, but the pizzas, service and friendly atmosphere was certainly up to previous standards. I had my favorite Nana pizza with sliced potatoes, which is difficult to get elsewhere, and I enjoyed it wholeheartedly.
Terrible experience - we'll never go back. No croutons, no wings and we waited over 40 mins for our salad and never got our pizza because when we asked what was taking so long and why the people who were seated after us got their pizza before we got our salad, the owner had a temper tantrum and refused to make our pizza. He literally told my husband he didn't care about our food or business. Great way to ruin what was once a really good restaurant.

This place has gone downhill - their pizza is great but they take forever to make it! We had a reservation at 7pm, and by 8:45 we still hadn't received our pizza! Absurd. We will never come here again.
We had a reservation for a Party of 5 at 6:45, unfortunately two people were a little late and arrived at 7. We tried to order appetizers and 5 out of the 7 appetizers were sold out, mind you this place opens at 5 and it was a Friday Night one would think they would plan accordingly. We luckily ordered two Ceasar Salads, which arrived within 15 minutes, the first of the 4 Pizzas arrived at 8:15. The other three Pizzas came in 10 minute intervals with the last one arriving after 8:45. We also tried to order a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and it was sold out and we had to settle on a Chianti. Service was very slow. Maybe understaffed because we had to go to the bar numerous time to order our beverages. Overall a very disappointing experience for a restaurant that used to be amazing.
I had super high hopes from reading online reviews. But, it wasn't quite stellar. The service was pretty rough. Super nice but they forgot to take our order and then food took forever and my friend and my food came out five minutes apart. Perhaps most disappointing was the Caesar. It's advertised with house made croutons, but these were straight from a bag. The pizza crust was perfect. The pizza was okay. If I'm paying $2 for onions, put more than 3 pieces on. Great fennel sausage though.
1hr and 6 minutes to be served a salad and wings that were not cooked the way wings should be enjoyed. Took forever for pizza to be done. Looked like the sauce and cheese were painted on. Server ignored us most of the time we were there, not even checking to see if we needed anything else. Overated and will not go back. Only decent thing we ate was the arugula salad. Very disappointed.

very short-staffed, i think they had 1 cook, 1 server, and maybe 1 bus boy. so the service was VERY slow, through no fault of any of the workers. they just need more staff. food was excellent as always
This is a nice spot good food, friendly and fast. We sat at the bar and waited for our pizza. Quick friendly service.
Kid-friendliness: A family spot, kids in highchairs and family dinners going on
What happened to this place?Came in with my partner after returning since before the pandemic & the place has completely departed from the original cute neighbor pizza spot with amazing service & the owner always onsite and cooking the pizza. This time the place is currently ran by very very young people (which isn't usually a bad thing) however, the lack of restaurant experience is clear. The bartender was nice did forget a couple of things however they were busy. Our two main issues were foremost the food.We ordered two pizzas (the margarita & the nana)And one ceasar. The Cesar which had been so delicious & house made in the past, honestly this time it tasted straight like a premade store bought Cesar from a bag. ( extremely underwhelming & disappointing.)The pizzas were both served raw, the first one we received and consumed was the margarita, but at first glance we thought maybe a bit undercooked but we were hungry, and it was very soggy with the pizza sauce so we thought perhaps that contributed. In previous visits the star of the meal was the meal, was the Nona however this time we were served a completely raw and inedible version. No flavor on the dough and the thyme was overwhelming.Luckily the server removed the Nona from our bill and we were appreciative. Also the entire time of our meal a baby was screaming and crying (although that's out of anyone's control)In the future perhaps the staff can offer to move the family to an area not smack in the middle of the restaurant, as it was very annoying and loud and unfair to the rest of patrons (chucky cheese is a great option for family's).I digress, the evening resulted in my partner and I getting violently sick from the food, and unfortunately that prompted this negative review, as the current state is a departure from what was always such a gem in the valley.
I stopped in because I read good reviews and obviously these folks don't really know much about food. First off, the bartender seemed a little cognitively challenged. The bar had a weak selection. Now let's go to the food. They only offer one size for pizzas. I ordered the Richie which for brick oven, was floppy with no crunch and my wings were burnt. I'll give them one more shot because maybe this was their B team
My daughter told me about this place. She knows I love Pizza. I can honestly say that this is the Best Place to eat Pizza. I not only love the pizza but the Whole Vibe is ??? Thanks Flame Pizzeria for the amazing experience!!!
