The absolute best fish and chips, shrimp, zucchini ! Sooooo goood! They are slightly pricey but portion sizes are great! Every H. salt I have been to has had the same greasy 70s80s Decor. Vintage posters of London Etc and resembles an old time ship. So good though!

During the day there's usually only one person working there (really it's just a little hole in the wall operation) so getting your order can take some time but it's more than worth the wait. The food is all amazing. The fish comes out a light golden brown with just the perfect taste and consistency. It's a shame the chain all but doesn't exist anymore but this location at least is better than any of their competitors in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you like old fashioned fish and chips. Hopefully you'll eat it soon after getting it. Like most foods it's best when fresh and hot.

I LOVE H. Salt! Hot, crispy, delicate cod fillets with steaming hot French fries, a Southern delicacy called hush puppies, sweet Cole slaw and for me, when available, crab cakes! Man, after Yoshinoya this is probably my favorite fast food joint!
Parking: Typically in the San Fernando Valley parking is never an issue. Definitely plenty of parking here, folks!

My kiddos love eating here when they crave fish and chips. Small restaurant which can accommodate about 10 individuals. Ladies who work there are always nice and friendly. Shrinkflation has played a part in the portion size. Inside does need an upgrade but it’s good place to grab a quick bite. It’s made to order so if you call ahead you will have hot food ready for pick up or take away in 10mins.
