I LOVE H. Salt! Hot, crispy, delicate cod fillets with steaming hot French fries, a Southern delicacy called hush puppies, sweet Cole slaw and for me, when available, crab cakes! Man, after Yoshinoya this is probably my favorite fast food joint!
Parking: Typically in the San Fernando Valley parking is never an issue. Definitely plenty of parking here, folks!

My kiddos love eating here when they crave fish and chips. Small restaurant which can accommodate about 10 individuals. Ladies who work there are always nice and friendly. Shrinkflation has played a part in the portion size. Inside does need an upgrade but it’s good place to grab a quick bite. It’s made to order so if you call ahead you will have hot food ready for pick up or take away in 10mins.

The fish & shrimp combo was delicious. I loved the way the huge shrimp were butterflied and made into a ring the size of an onion ring. Even after a 20-minute drive home, the food was still warm, not greasy. The hush puppies were cooked perfectly. A nice, golden brown on the outside, yet soft & moist inside. Best hush puppies I've had in a while.
The only drawbacks were the chips (fries) were mediocre, and they were out of small orders of cole slaw. That turned out to be a bonus, though, because I bought the medium container and loved it. Creamy & full of flavor.
The business is rather small and looks like it could use a coat of paint at a minimum.
