We visited Mis Raíces Restaurant, and even though we are not Salvadorian, we were truly impressed by the way they run this place. From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel right at home. The restaurant has that comforting “home” feeling — the food is homemade, fresh, and full of the flavors that remind you of a grandmother’s kitchen.

The pupusas were delicious. They were the perfect thickness; there was plenty of filing, and the masa was not too thick. Cooked to perfection, they were not greasy at all. We enjoyed a nice selection of the different types offered. Our party included a Salvadoran who knows his pupusas. We also ordered a plate of rice, beans, and fried plantains. They were wonderful.
