As a certified tamale snob, I know tamales. No one beats Nana’s red or sweet with raisin it this place is a close second. I ordered a half a dozen for an upcoming road trip and I was not disappointed. I tried to order green in addition to red but the order got mixed up and I received only reds. No problem as they were absolutely yummy. Soft moist masa with plenty of red meat. As I steamed a few days later we picked up a Las Palmas red sauce hot for on top sauce that was perfect....

BEST PLACE TO FIND MEXICAN TAMALES IN THE VALLEY. THEY ARE FULL RICH IN FLAVORY. THEY ARE NOT ANY ORDINARY TAMALES. THEY ARE MORE THAN THAT AND THE QUALITY IS THE BEST. LOVE GETTING THE NUMBER 2.

First thing first there are two things you need to know before coming here.
There are 6 tables so it’s not huge.
This is not fast food so if you’re impatient then this is not the place for you.
There are a few tamales to choose from. I went right for the jalapeño and cheese once because my grandma used to make them. I was immediately taken back to those days and so many memories of her flashes through my mind. It was delicious! The cheese had melted...
