First thing first there are two things you need to know before coming here.
There are 6 tables so it’s not huge.
This is not fast food so if you’re impatient then this is not the place for you.

Was craving authentic tamales in the valley, I came to tamales house and tried their sweet, meat, veggies and combination menu. I have never seen a menu so unique and filled with delicious food options. I have strawberry, pineapple and cream cheese tamales which had a moist and sweet taste, I paired it with their champurrado. I was also super intrigued by their combination menu so I had their tamal breakfast which was topped with sunny side up eggs and I also had their tamal bowl...

I don’t know if there is an actual difference between the store on Reseda and the one on Nordhoff, but honestly I find that the flavor at the Reseda store is much better. The people at both stores seem a little unbothered by customers giving just enough attention as is required to get you your order and food. The shredded beef tamale bowl is my favorite. The stores are clean too.
