This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in.
Don’t let that fool or stop you.
Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming.
And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch.
