My wife and I wanted to have a good seafood dinner but that wasn't to be. We ordered the three choices, calamari, clams and scallops with just a double order of coleslaw. The calamari was very over cooked tuff as shoe leather, the clams were as hard as rocks, they were beyond crunchy, fried to death, (we complained about that and the waitress brought us a fresh batch of clams they were a lot softer but seemed to have a bad flavor.) Being from the East coast and living on a NC barrier island I know what good seafood should taste like. I grew up on seafood. The scallops were good, the coleslaw was good but served in a very very small container. (Coleslaw is one of the cheapest dishes for a restaurant to make.) One thing I don’t like is paying top dollar for a bad meal and have to eat it off of a piece of newspaper. We like to have proper dinnerware at a restaurant. Very disappointing experience.Parking: Its fine.

The two of us had the fryed oysters w/fries (on the appetizer menu), and drinks. Food was great- best seafood place in town. Service was wonderful - very courteous and caring. I would recommend Ales Crab House to everyone!

It's almost like eating by the pier! Well, not really, but you can really get into the vibe of being somewhere a little more upscale with reasonably good seafood (given where it's located). I never seem to get enough tartar sauce, but it's a small issue. The people are nice, the food is good, and it's fun to be there!

This fucking place has amazing customer service and bomb ass fish and shrimp tacos. Vicente makes some bomb ass spicy mango margaritas!! If you don't eat at this place you're a lame! Also, Calamari was amazing, Oysters were juicy and thick AF. My date was so impressed she paid for my whole meal. Thanks guys I'll be back next Thursday! PS They play fucking American music all night. If you're a real American then you want to eat some god damn crab legs here! God Bless

always great service good food.... I host our company party's there every year did find waitress (Fake) finger nail in my chicken salad one time ... lets just say that employee is not there anymore.. ive been going there since they opened that was my only issue... love the owners ........steaks are always juicy and delicious
