Bobby Salazar’s is a great little local spot in Ridgecrest. It has that welcoming, small business feel where the staff treats you like a regular—even if it’s your first time. The food is solid all around. Nothing over-complicated, just well-made, flavorful Mexican dishes that hit the spot.

I’ve tried the tacos and burritos, and both were tasty with good portions. The chips and salsa are fresh, and the menu has a nice variety without feeling overwhelming. Everything came out hot and well-prepared.

The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, perfect for a laid-back lunch or dinner. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and comfortable. Prices are fair, and it feels good supporting a local business that clearly puts effort into what they do.

Overall, Bobby Salazar’s is a solid choice in Ridgecrest. Good food, friendly service, and a local vibe that makes you want to come back.

Chester's fried chicken is mediocre at best, the wait is so unreasonably long, the mashed potatoes are honestly disgusting, and it is way overpriced for the quality. Customer service is awful. Would not recommend.
