This place was so delicious. We were tourists the week of September 15th. They have the BEST chocolate milkshake my husband and I ever had! We are from Trenton, GA and it felt like we were home. Made to order food is the best food so prepared wait. We sat on their patio and ate. Very peaceful and quite. Will be a returning customer when we visit northern California again!

Update...old bacon and dry burger patties. I guess consistency is not part of the business model. Sometimes they are open, sometimes not. Food was good once out of three.

We were driving north from San Francisco headed toward Oregon and needed some lunch. We stopped at DJ’s Burger Bar. The milkshake was delicious. The burgers were also delicious! The chicken delight sandwich was very good. The taco salad was a large portion and included fresh avocado, salsa, cheese, iceberg lettuce, sour cream, and more! We really enjoyed our meals! The staff was friendly, too! The only issue was that the one tiny bathroom needed a cleaning and an air freshener.

Djs is the one of the best burger places in humboldt county and is very cheap, the only downside is they only take cash. Great car shows also.
You can't really tell me people go here and think it's good. We completely return our French fries or I mean the soggy slop in the bucket that was unedible. I had a cheeseburger and I think it was one of my biggest mistakes I've made in my life. I paid for it hours and hours later, if you know what I mean. I wish people all the luck in the world but come on, put out at least some kind of decent food. I don't like giving one stars or 2 stars ,come on that's just not me but this was bad.

We like to try little local places when we travel. Thus we stopped here for a late lunch while visiting the Redwoods. We were able to sit out on the "porch" with our dog, and our food came out at the window. This place is CASH ONLY, but it's not well advertised when you order/come in. The burgers are ok, nothing special. The fries are bland, but you get a really large portion. Staff is very friendly. This place seems most popular with the locals for their slushes. Prices reasonable.

Burnt fries, not crispy- oil needs changing. Yellow old lettuce on my burger that was the most plain ever. Bad service, mean looks when I didn't risk my health with the fries.

Can not be beat! The onion rings are crisp, fresh, and not greasy. The burgers..... just don't get any better unless you're taking a drive. Love this burger bar.
SO GOOD! If you're coming out of the Avenue of the Giants and are hungry, this is the place to stop. Delicious food at unbelievably good prices.
