Hands down the BEST home style Mexican food in the region. If you done believe me come try it for yourselves. Great family and consistent. Chile Colorado, chile verde and birria de chivo are my go to's however nothing disappoints. Them hand made tortillas tho!!

Food is really authentic, the ladies are all really nice and friendly. Service is slow but that doesnt take away from anything. We're glad we found this gem. Will be coming back.

See my first review 8 years back this place has changed. I felt they discriminated against me first of all I ordered mocajate and mine was half the size. They tried to tell me same amount of ingredients is same! No way mine was really small. Did not taste as it did before. Also while we are eating they put a sign cash only. So we told them hey have card only sign was put up after. They said go to atm and then had the nerve to tell me one of us had to wait in the restaurant like they are my mom. I laughed we went out and brought the cash back. Horrible service.

Service is ok they have this new little girl up there she's like maybe 14years old literally just stands at the front register on her phone and eating hot Cheetos I was standing there to place my order for five minutes until another grown woman told her to take my order and she goes back and tells her no you do it. Customer service. Unacceptable. second food is good been coming here for two years up until this past Saturday order two soups of caldo de shrimp 50$ halfway through my soup I found a long black piece of hair like what ???? none of the cooks wear hair nets keep eye out for that I'm sorry to leave this review but you guys gotta step your game up for that . Also improve your customer service at the register. If they're not trained on the register, don't have them or her sitting up there with an attitude makes you not feel welcome .

THEEE MOST oiliest, overcooked, sloppiest, crunchiest meat, I have ever had. They are the nicest people and from what I understand, being in Rio Linda, a great family business, but I’m sorry, the food is horrible!! Spent $40+ and couldn’t eat a 1/4 of what I ordered. I am not a Karen! We support small businesses and have ordered from the a few times to see if the quality would change. I’m sorry but we can’t order here anymore. I’m very very very very sorry to leave this review.
Good food, although some items are really oily. Not sure what's going on with the AC but it was exceptionally warm in the restaurant, otherwise it would have gotten 4 stars for atmosphere. It's been awhile since we've been and it feels.... different, but I'd be willing to go back and give it another try... when the weather is cooler!
