This is one of the best kept secret little spots around. They open at 3pm and its just a wonderful evening spot. I took my daughter and her friend in there again tonight and the service is always superb. My daughter was deciding between 2 flavors and she told her you can taste them. ? we all enjoyed our evening and I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

We stopped in here and looked around a while before ordering. The place is cute and tried to chat with the owner a little. She was short and seemed bothered even though there was no one else there. All three ice cream scoops had ice crystals throughout and dull flavors. Not just from condensation on top freezing. Just don't seem like the quality we expected. With both the ice cream and customer service lacking. We would choose elsewhere next time.

What a great find! We were looking for somewhere close to get some ice cream on a beautiful Sunday and and didn't what the hassle the usual places with the usual crowds. Looked up to see if there was something else and discovered Meg's Creamery. Took a little drive to "downtown" Rio Linda and ended up at the old shopping area of Rio Linda. Met Meg and enjoyed some nice chat and very nice ice cream. My wife had the vanilla orange float and I had the chocolate peanut butter with some lime sherbet. Going to def go back and enjoy some other flavors! Yea Rio Linda!! Might hit Bowinkles and Creekside Diner soon as well. Oh, and Jimmy's Donuts.

Last time I came here it was the other owners and they were never open! But recently about a month ago I came in and got a scoop of ice cream for myself and also for the kids and they were very friendly and the ice cream was delicious! We even got a stamp card!? Every time I drive by they are open, and I appreciate that from a small business ?
I'm really impressed!I tried The PB&J sundae and my wife got 2 scoops of the mint chocolate chip.Highly recommend checking them out. Clean and friendly environment and the ice cream was amazing. The owner, Meg, is both friendly and helpful.

How fun ! Loved our first time back into a familiar location but with a clearly different approach - clean, creative, great staff personality and awesome seating area. the decor of Meg's is delightful and the back wall in the party room is quite the photo backdrop. I loved the flavor of my delicious mint chip and my husband gorged on the cotton candy ice cream. so nice to know there is a place like this in our town, I am predicting lots of business on our hot summer nights. Thanks, Meg! We will definitely be back.
