Subpar. I’ve heard nothing but great reviews of Fina and decided to make reservations for my anniversary with husband. We get there and it’s dead, we get seated in a back corner which was fine but unfortunately cleanliness was overlooked as the table was surface wiped but not clean. We opted for shareable plates as we wanted to try a little bit of everything from the menu. We ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and it was disappointing, the pasta was was more oily than creamy and bland. We had high hopes for the pizza but unfortunately that too was off putting. I love myself a pizza fire blazed but know the difference between extra toasty and burnt. Our pizza was straight black on the bottom and burnt flavor overpowered the toppings…and sadly was served with spoiled arugula (yellow with spots and slimy). Quality standards need to be revisited.

The pork chop dish is delicious. I really like their Margherita pizza as well. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh. One thing I don't like about this place is sometimes I'm sat at a table and wish my wife and I could be further away from other parties. In general I think the tables are too close together.

Awful ceaser salad, chicken fettuccine was way to salty and undercooked, appetizers would have been good if they were served hot. Beautiful place and fun to watch the chefs cook. Food needs work.

I had the ravioli, and it was very good. My wife had a rib eye steak and also said it was very good. Service was spot on.

Server never checked on us. Couldn't get her to make eye contact so we could order a drink. Couldn't get her to make contact to get our bill. We usually tip 20% + but only tipped her 15%. Buss boys were great food was great. Service below standard. Tried to waive down manager but that was as bad as trying to get our server to acknowledge us ?

This place is pale but with some potential. You know those spots that you eat at one time and leave not fully satisfied, this is it. (Yes the staff was attentive but lacked knowledge of what was and wasn't available.) Also, why set with a bread and butter plate and not serve bread and butter? Couple things that left us not recommending to people and not going back. -lobster ravioli: cold grilled cherry tomatoes on top, shrimps on top were not seasoned. This dish lacks balance. However, the raviolis themselves were good. -braised short ribs: lacked seasoning, dry, no sauce. Any chef (even home chefs) know braised short ribs should fall apart and be served with the sauce they were cooked in. You're paying $50+ for a dish that lacks portion of meat and flavor. -pork chops: dry. You get a 3oz pork chop and 10oz of mashed potatoes -risotto: presentation was weak. It looked like plain rice and tasted plain (no offense to plain rice). When an "Italian" restaurant has risotto on the menu, make risotto authentically! This dish lacked the essence of what risotto is which is a rich broth that bodies the white rice and creaminess of the parmigiano-reggiano. Again, seasoning was MISSING. Like I said pale. This restaurant needs to revamp the dishes to fit the truth authenticity of each dish.

Had dinner with friends and the food, service, and atmosphere was great and lively. The glass walls provide an open view to the kitchen.

Great food. Had the short ribs and polenta. Kitchen was slow it took an hour to get dinner but the wait staff was very very good. Best to go when the guitarist is not playing. He is really talented but the music was so loud we had to yell at each to have any conversation. Several requests to reduce the volume fell on deaf ears...pun intended.

Ordered a Margarita Pizza and Pesto Pasta. they charged almost 50 dollars for these 2 items. However the pizza was soo salty. It felt like a waste of money. They have quality food however should monitor their salt in the food.

Great gem of an Italian restaurant found in the most unlikely of places. I enjoyed the upscale flare with down-to-Earth ambiance, and the area definitely needed more sitdown restaurant without any pretentiousness. My only complaint... there isn't a Fina or any John Surla establishment in Lathrop. The city is growing, please please consider opening up a restaurant around the River Islands area.

The food was excellent. We went for NYE and we knew there was a priced fixed menu. Everything was prepared well. What was unfortunate about our experience was the service. They had a ton of employees milling around doing things, but our service was still slow. We sat for 20 minutes before someone waited on our table. We were on our third course before we got our drinks. They ran out of glassware and utensils. We sat for 15 minutes when we got our entrees before the waitress realized we didn't have forks or knives. What I don't understand about all of this is that dinner was by reservation only and it was fixed, so they knew how many people to prepare for and what was needed. There should have been no surprises. I ordered a second drink and when we were done with our meal the waitress acknowledged she forgot and offered to get it then. Had it not been for the terrible service, I would have given Fina's 5 stars.

Delicious, seasonal food, great service. There's something for everyone on this menu, everything was well seasoned, tasted great.

Went here on Friday night with friends. The resturant was nice and the service staff did a good job. However they have a guitar player on this night. He was good but the scound was so loud that we could not have a conversation with friends and even the service staff had trouble getting oeur order. We asked to have it turned down several times and our server tried but said their was nothing they could do. In addition I had the Penne Bolognese and it was so salty that I could not eat it. Others said their food was all right. I would never go back to this resturant if they have any performers on that night. Terrible waste of our time and money.

Besides the loud uncomfortable music, that prevented us from communicating and enjoying our dinner experience, one of our party of six couldn't eat his pasta due to the saltiness. Other reviewers have commented on that issue. Can't you correct it?

Excellent experience...Food and service was perfect. Only thing missing was a little ambient music to help the vibe...I will definitely be coming back.
