I had a great al pastor super burrito. The food was tasty and inexpensive. Our server was friendly and helpful.

If I could, I'd rate food and service more than 5 stars. From the chips and salsa to the entrees and soup, everything was so tasty. The salsa was so fresh... we joked that we could drink it from a straw if it wasn't frowned upon. We got the chorizo and egg plate with flour tortillas and the carne asada plate with corn tortillas. While I enjoyed the flour over the corn tortillas, everything was delicious and flavorful! The rice wasn't dry and the refried beans had a nice texture. We took home an asada burrito and the albondigas. The burrito was delicious even after a few hours of being in the fridge. That tortilla, man... love it. The albondigas was comforting. The meatballs and broth were perfect. If I had any criticism on the albondigas, it was I wish they gave us more meatballs.I wish I got the gentleman's name of who greeted us and helped us. He was super friendly. Lovely man to chat with. Gave us enough privacy but also was helpful, interested, attentive, and grateful for us stopping by.The restaurant is small and probably easy to miss. It's attached to a liquor store and has bars on the window. It's a hole in the wall environment, but totally worth to go in. The seating area was clean and comfortable and they had two TVs on playing Mexican music and a Mexican variety show. The kitchen is in the middle of the room with a wall partition separating it from the eating area. Whatever they do to ventilate the food smells/smoke, it's pretty impressive. Also, paying with cash will save you some money, but paying with a card won't break the bank. This place is a gem. Please visit these nice people. It almost felt like going to my friend's mom's house.

TV DINNER TASTE BETTER. Run down. Smells like dust. In general bad experience. Would not recommend it to anyone..

Incredible food. Low prices. Hidden gem. I'm shocked this place isn't packed all the time.

Outstanding food, service is excellent, attention to personal dietary needs/quirks. Best “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant within 100 miles.

My favorite restaurant in Escalon/Ripon area! I moved back to the city but when I visit the Central Valley during their open hours I always try to stop by. I get a combo plate (quesadilla and enchilada) and it's so delicious!! The owners and staff are very nice and welcoming. You can call your order ahead and they even held my order past their closing time for pickup!

I had the Quesabirria tacos and they we’re actually pretty good, the place is very very loud cause of the ppl drinking at the bar but other than that the food is great.

A gem in the middle of farmland. Do not let the looks deceive you, this place is amazing. The food tasted like high dollar Mexican Restaurants, and the portion is huge. Anywhere from $10 to $18, my carne asada was $15. I went here twice for lunch while being on a job. Nicest people you can find, timely services. 10stars. I’m Asian but good food is good food.
