I recently visited the Jamba Juice in Ripon, CA, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the store was clean and well-maintained, the staff seemed untrained and unhelpful.

I tried to use a 50% off coupon for an Açaí bowl, but the cashier struggled to apply it correctly. After some confusion, the manager explained that the coupon was only valid for hot food items. I chose a hot food item, but when she asked for my phone number to apply the coupon, she mistakenly deducted 500 loyalty points from my account instead.

When I checked my app and noticed the points were gone but the coupon remained, I asked the cashier to get the manager again. The manager returned, but instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, she suggested it was my fault for not clarifying I had a coupon—even though this was the reason for the initial confusion.

Frustrated, I requested a refund and the return of my loyalty points. The manager seemed clueless and had to call her superior for assistance. In the end, they could only refund the 50% we paid with our debit card and were unable to restore my points. The lack of effective communication and poor customer service was evident throughout the interaction.

This store clearly needs training in customer service and internal communication. I left with a bad experience and 500 points less in my account. The manager's only attempt to rectify the situation was a simple, "sorry about that." I hope this review helps others manage their expectations and encourages Jamba Juice to improve their service.
