Great wine and service. Minutes away from the highway makes a great stop to stroll around and sip some great wine No doubt a real gem
Absolutely fenomenal!
The guys here are so great and genuine, amazing people who know their wines. Great wine selection for good prices.
Had our first wine tasting here and it was a 10/10
Honestly needs to be said. I tried 24 wines here and I am giving it a 1 start because these are some of the worst wines I have ever tried. The whites are beyond terrible and all resemble a strange urine and asparagus taste. The ambiance and location are lovely so if you are going for that the safe wines are the Syrah and petite Sirah. Pretty much everything else has a really off smell and taste. Be aware if you are into wine and have tasted anything else. If not you may enjoy this place. Staff and location are nice it’s just the product that is getting this review.
Amazing customer service! Great wine! Family friendly! 5 out of 5 :)))
Great experience, super nice place, amazing choice, and the best part is that it's local. John was super awesome and knowledgeable. Highly recommended
I have visited this local winery on numerous occasions over the years. It is nice to have a place that offers wine tasting so close to home. The wines are drinkable for the most part, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. This past Sunday it was so sunny and lovely out, we thoght it would be nice to sit outdoors somewhere and enjoy the beautiful spring-like weather. We decided to go to Lucca instead of heading up to Knights Ferry because our 6 month old shelter rescue had been experiencing some car sickness on windy roads, but was fine on the straightaway. It is still a twenty five minute drive for us. But it was so pretty with all the almonds in bloom. We arrived and settled in at a table outdoors. A gentleman came out and took our tasting order. I mentioned that their wooden sign now had " no pets" scrawled on it...... and asked if our docile, well - behaved chihuahua/Pug pup was welcome. " Oh, yeah he's ok. " , he said. Then , Mark, the owner came out and told us we had to leave. I said I was not aware that they had adopted a no pet policy and asked if we could stay just for todaysince we had already driven out there. I offered to hold my pup on my lap. " No. I'm sorry", he said. " Why?", I asked. " Because we have dogs. Winery dogs." Apparently he has dog-aggresive winery dogs he can't control. Great idea. Guess they can't be kept away from guests and their dogs the few hours the winery is open on the weekends. Okay. You want them to be able to have the run of their own place all the time. I get it. And I would have known not to bring my dog going forward. .But to make customers leave - when they are already there, and weren't aware of the new policy - is rude, and unfair. We won't be back.
You can't go wrong with any of their wines! Seriously, you can go to a winery and get a couple of good tasting wines, or you can come here and get 20 that are fantastic!
Enjoyed our tasting, the friendly atmosphere, questions answered and wonderful wines.
Great wine tasting spot. Great staff. The venue is very pretty and the wine is definitely worth trying. They have snacks too if your hungry. Very cool spot.
Great wines, great people, great value

Prices weren't bad, but the interior is like a monochrome barn—quite boring—and the man who works in the tasting room, Mark, is very rude
Really nice summer concerts in a small beautiful garden.
Heads up this place is not pet friendly and the man who works in the tasting room is very rude and unpleasant. Wouldn’t recommend for those reasons
A happy find while out in the general area. Loved the venue and the wine ..well wasn't a bad sip in the line up!
One of the best wineries in California, a hidden gem in Ripon. Master Vintner Mark Lucchesi, is friendly and knowledgeable about everything wine. Has many very unique and amazing blends and varietals that are reminiscent of the old Young's winery in Plymouth (before 2009) and highest rated in Napa. His passion in wine-making shows and he is happy to share it with you. Go taste their wines as soon as you can, you won't be sorry....and I guarantee you'll be leaving with a case or two by the time you're done. Still amazing
