I used to love this place, my go to Chinese restaurant in the Escalon, Riverbank, Modesto area. But since the first of the year the quality has lagged and you get 30-50% less on the quantity. They have really cut back on things. Not unexpected given the economy, but now they are just average unfortunately.

Friendly waitress. Greeted and seated right away. Gave us our space to search menu. Returned to table many times to check on us, refill drinks and such. Offered to give us boxes and a bag before we even asked. Very comfortable atmosphere. Kids would be comfortable here. Tables and booths available. Sushi also served here. All dishes came out quickly after we ordered. Fresh. Delicious. Highly recommend. This will where we go from now one.

Heard about this place from an acquaintance and decided to give it a go for dinner last night. It's a small space overly decorated with ornate Chinese decor items. When we got there, the restaurant was partially full. We were greeted immediately and sat down at a booth. We ordered an appetizer which was pork filled pot stickers. The waitress told us that they were homemade. They were good sized but on the greasy side. I ended up ordering egg and vegetable fried rice together with green beans topped with garlic sauce. Although they were half orders, still hefty. My husband ordered a combination general Chos Chicken combo plate. The food was okay. We definitely were not jumping out of our seats. We may return in future and give it a second chance and order different itemsVegetarian options: Vegetarian section is clearly indicated. The green beans I ordered were not thoroughly prepped before cooking. The end strings (fibers) were annoying since they were not removed.

I was on the hunt for the best orange chicken in the immediate area. So far, the orange and lemon chicken here is my favorite around here. The Mongolian beef was a pleasant surprise. It was nice sizes of meat and juicy and tender. Best Mongolian beef I had to date. The restaurant is not fancy decore by any means, but the service was very polite and friendly and definitely going back for more of the same and try other things.

Our first time here. This place is amazing. The food is great and authentic. Crews are super nice, too. Prices are decent and super worth it. So far, this place is our most favorite. We will surely come back again. We really enjoyed their food.

The Food was disappointing the service was decent they rushed us to order. The ambiance was okay just looked really cluttered.

The food here has gone downhill fast. Like building on fire fast. I dropped in with a buddy on a Monday evening due to our go to being closed. We each had the combination dinner plate. It comes with choice of entree, chow mein, fried rice, and an egg roll. I had garlic chicken. He had teriyaki chicken. Both had great presentation but tasted so terribly bland that I had to ask the waitress if they had a new cook. Sadly it wasn't that simple. My egg flower soup sucked, my garlic chicken sucked, the chow mein was so overcooked it was almost soggy, and the supposedly pork fried rice looked like white rice with corn stirred into it then topped with chopped pork. They also topped the chow mein the same way. The potstickers were so awful that we ate 2 of 6 and left the rest. I did enjoy the egg roll tho! Although the service was nice, and the ambiance was vibing oriental, the food was so terrible that we chose not to even take our leftovers. I will not be back.

Visted this place for lunch today while looking for something to eat here in Riverbank. Not a lot of choices just yet in the area mostly chain restaurants. So I decided to try this Chinese food place. My takeaway was this just a very average Chinese restaurant. The Mongolian beef plate was ok. The beef had more of a garlic and onion taste and less of what I'm used to which is more of sweet tangy spicy taste. The chow mein lacked flavor and was a bit cold and that's because we ordered and the food came out super fast. The rice lacked flavor as well. Probably the best part of the meal was the hot and sour soup. It was just above average. Don't think I would eat here again. Nothing tasted close to what I'm used to. The service was good. The ambiance was local small town Chinese diner.

Only went once to satisfy a craving, however the food was below average to be honest. They do have a lot of options on the menu. Service was average, they didn't have a heater on with this cold weather. We weren't comfortable, so I'm not sure if I'd go back.
